CoreMeter is a tiny widget which you can use to keep track of the current CPU and memory usage. It can be handled by all users who need to know how much resources the computer is consuming, such as avid video gamers, program designers and graphic editors.
The app's interface is based on a small frame with an uncomplicated design. It can be moved to any spot on the desktop, with the help of the mouse cursor.
The main application window shows a progress bar and percentage level of all CPU cores, along with the total used RAM.
A wide range of settings can be configured from the Settings area. For instance, you can hide the average values and customize the appearance (e.g. background colors, bar transparency, text color, cores and memory graph). In addition, you can specify the temperature source (core, SpeedFan).
The lightweight app uses a pretty low amount of CPU and system memory, so it does not interfere with the runtime of currently active processes. It has a good response time and didn't cause us any issues during our tests, such as making Windows freeze, crash or pop up error dialogs. Thanks to its intuitive layout, CoreMeter can be handled even by first-time users.
