Sushi's DriveInfo is a Windows widget designed to display capacity information for all the drives on your computer (including media devices or USB sticks).
The gadget works on Vista and 7 and installs in about two seconds. Most probably, it’s located in the upper right corner of the screen (and can be moved nontheless), but if you fail to spot it, you can navigate to the Gadgets section of the OS and add it to the desktop (this is also the place you should access if you wish to uninstall it).
As soon as you get acquainted with its tiny, yet comprehensive interface, you will surely notice that all your drives are listed neatly, accompanied by information concerning capacity and free space. Also, clicking on any of the items in the list opens the drive instantly.
In order to differentiate drives from network devices or removable media, the widget features distinct icons for each of these. A selection of icon themes (seven in total) and backgrounds (three, to be exact) is also available, which allows you to customize the gadget’s appearance in a simple manner.
Other preferences may be accessed using the Options section. Here, you can select the type of drives you wish to be listed and additionally, you can enable links to My Computer and / or Network.
In conclusion, Sushi's DriveInfo is a good choice if you wish to have a quick overview of the free space on your computer’s drives. It’s also a great way to access each drive individually without having to navigate the My Computer section.
