Currency Exchange Monitor
Designed for the Google Desktop platform, Currency Exchange Monitor is a small gadget that shows you the latest currency exchange rates of the Japanese Yen, right on your desktop. First-time users can quickly learn how to work with this tool.
After a brief installation procedure that does not require special input from the user, you can check out the small, rectangular frame which can be moved to any spot on the desktop, with the help of the mouse cursor, once you undock it from the sidebar.
The main frame displays the latest exchange rates for the Japanese Yen, compared to the American, Canadian and Australian dollar, just to name a few.
Unfortunately, Currency Exchange Monitor does not come prepared with any configurable settings. Thanks to the default options supplied by Google Desktop, you can open the context menu to hide or collapse the frame, zoom into it, or make it stay on top of other windows.
Currency Exchange Monitor is very low-demanding when it comes to the CPU and system memory, so it shouldn't affect the computer's overall performance. It has a good response time and is pretty stable. No error dialogs have been shown in our testing and the app did not hang or crash. Thanks to its overall simplicity, Currency Exchange Monitor can be effortlessly figured out.
