PasswordShield is a gadget that adds to your desktop a tool designed to protect your passwords from access by unwanted persons
The tool allows you to have a different passwords for all the different programs and websites that you deal with, without actually having to remember all those usernames and passwords.
You only have to remember the password to the PasswordShield. Your password records are protected through Rijndael encryption. An encryption method which has been approved by the National Security Agency (NSA). Access to the database is via a self-registering .dll module.
Special features include automaticaly locking of the tool at a given interval, evaluation of current passwords and random password generation. After starting PasswordShield, you will be prompted to change the maste password. To do so, go into the gadget settings and enter the master password "Shield" and a new password. Afterwards you can log on with your new password.
