DNG is an acronym for Digital Negative Graphics and it was developed by Adobe. DNG format supports metadata and it is based on the TIFF/EP standard format.
Since it is a raw format, users will be required to convert DNG images to other formats so as to be able to print or adjust them.
Particularly suitable for saving photos in uncompressed formats, converting DNG images to other formats will not affect their quality.
Furthermore, users will have the liberty to choose the graphic format that meets their exact requirements.
