Create DV Files

Also known as Digital Video, DV is a multimedia format mainly used by consumer digital camcorders.

Besides recording their clips using these devices, one can also create DV files by encoding other types of videos to DV.

DV-compatible applications will typically enable users to adjust the aspect ratio, sample rate or bit rate of the source files before exporting it to DV.

One will also have the possibility to assign the resulting DV file an appropriate filename.
