Whenever users are dealing with sensitive or very important data, they resort to encrypting the files, and they can still do the same with folders.
Even though there are some file encryption utilities that can also be used for managing folders, one could also choose a dedicated tool that only deals with directories.
Users will have the possibility to choose one of the integrated encryption algorithms, enter the password, then press a single button. One will be able to decrypt the folder only if they provide the correct passphrase.
Users will also be able to erase or shred the source folder once the encryption is completed.
