P2P stands for peer-to-peer file sharing systems which allows the participants to share files over a distributed network without needing to have a central server or stable host.
Unlike the standard client-server connection, where the servers provide the data and the clients use it, when it comes to P2P models, each participant provides access to data on their computer, and in turn, downloads files from other systems.
P2P clients are specialized software solutions that will enable users to share their files as torrents or as regular file types.
One will also have the possibility to add the location they prefer, without being restricted to the ones provided by the P2P client as sample.
