Internet radio is an audio service broadcast via the Internet, although because of its online transmission method, it is commonly referred as webcast.
Web radio implies a continuous stream of audio content that users cannot replay or pause.
At most, one can use an audio recorder or a function in the player, if one exists, to store the audio content for later playback.
As opposed to traditional radio, users can listen to an online radio regardless of their location, but like all radio stations, web radios also cover a wide range of interests: music radios, sports radios, talk radios, news radios etc.
