Also known as ZeusBot, Zeus and WSNPoem, ZBot is a trojan horse that lowers security settings, drops files on the compromised computer while also stealing confidential data from the affected machines.
This trojan typically spreads via e-mail attachments and it monitors the online banking data one enters on financial organizations’ pages.
Since this trojan features numerous types of variants, it can also steal additional authentication credentials.
There are numerous antivirus and anti-spyware tools that can remove this malware threat, and users can also choose to install a dedicated security application that will remove ZBot and all of its variants.
