Taskbars are the bars that are displayed at the bottom of all Windows desktops and are used to monitor all the active programs and launch new ones (using the Quick Launch section).
The first time Microsoft introduced a taskbar was within Windows 95 and it has become one on the most characteristic features of this OS.
Users started to customize their taskbars by adding new functions to the XP elements, and later wanted to personalize Vista and Seven.
In order to customize the taskbar, users can personalize the clock, change the color or adjust the transparency level.
