Webmail Notifiers Apps and Alternatives

Webmail notifiers are specialized software applications that display alert windows whenever a new email message is received.

Unlike regular email notifiers, these applications are addressed mainly at web-based email accounts, including, but not limited to, Yahoo!, GMail or Hotmail.

Users will be required to enter their credentials (username and password) only once, and these apps will frequently check the designated inbox and will display an alert message when new emails are detected.

Some of these utilities are standalone, but there are also some of them which are browser add-ons, therefore they will not require any additional power resources while running.
