New in Atelier Web Firewall Tester 5.0 (Feb 24, 2010)
- AWFT comes in 32-bit and 64-bit editions. The full set of tests can only be
- performed in a 64-bit operating system with the 64-bit edition of AWFT.
- Tests 5 and 6 can now be performed against other kinds of software that
- access the internet, such as email, ftp, online games or voip clients. Previously,
- connections on port 80 were required.
- Many new tweaks, namely the capability to launch the default browser set in
- Options for test 2, and also some gymnastics to make happy some brainless
- antivirus (not necessarily the cheapest ones) whose heuristic engine classify as
- trojan when they find calls to certain Windows APIs (which, of course, can also
- be used by innocent programs like this one).
- Full compatibility with Windows 7 and Server 2008.
