- BatchPurifier 8.3 incorporates the latest version of the DataDistiller Hidden Data Removal Engine, with a new Deep Purification capability that allows to remove hidden data & metadata from JPEG and PNG image files that have been embedded in Microsoft Office documents. (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- It also includes a fix to a bug in the user interface.
New in BatchPurifier 8.2 (May 15, 2023)
- Incorporates the latest version of the DataDistiller™ Hidden Data Removal Engine, with support for the removal of ZIP metadata, including File Entries Timestamps, File Entries Comments, and ZIP Comment.
- It also includes a new option to remove just Tracked Changes Authors from Microsoft® Word documents, while retaining the Tracked Changes themselves.
- In addition, improvements have been made in the processing of Microsoft Office® documents, LibreOffice® documents, and SVG files.
New in BatchPurifier 8.1 (Aug 8, 2022)
- BatchPurifier 8.1 incorporates the latest version of the DataDistiller Hidden Data Removal Engine, which no longer removes internal links from PDF documents as part of Comments and Markups. It also includes new options to preserve some Document Properties in PDF documents.

- The new version has also been added with the ability to export purification results to a CSV file.

- The new version incorporates the latest version of the DataDistiller Engine with support for the removal of Printer Settings from Microsoft®Word documents and Microsoft Excel workbooks, and the removal of APE tag from Tom's Audio Kompressor files.
- The new version also makes the inclusion of three JPEG hidden data filters optional.
- These hidden data generally does not include private information, and removing them may affect the appearance of the image.
- The new version also includes minor improvements to the user interface.

- The new version incorporates the latest version of the DataDistiller Engine with support for four additional audio file formats - Monkey's Audio, Musepack, OptimFROG, and WavPack. Also been added is the ability to configure BatchPurifier to use certain purification options by default to streamline the process.
