What's new in CasaTunes 5.00.240312

  • New Features:
  • Replaced the SqueezeBox version of Pandora. When you install this latest update, and you had previously installed Pandora, then CasaTunes will automatically add an instance of the new Pandora music service. Now, when you navigate into Pandora for the first time, you will be prompted to enter your Pandora credentials. If you are using multiple Pandora accounts you will need to add additional Pandora music service instances similar to how you do this for other CasaTunes music services. The current version does not allow you to create a new Pandora station, so you will need to use the Pandora App to add one. Creating stations will be added in a future release. This version supports both free and paid Pandora accounts.
  • Replaced the CasaTunes version of Tidal, with the Airable version of Tidal. When you install this latest update, and you had previously installed Tidal, then CasaTunes will automatically add a new instance of the Airable Tidal music service. When you navigate into Tidal, you will be prompted to authenticate your Tidal account. If you are using multiple Tidal accounts you will need to add the additional instances similar to how you do this for other CasaTunes music services.
  • This version also includes several new radio services (that were originally supported via SqueezeBox), including: Classical Radio, DI.FM, JAZZRADIO.com, Radio Tunes, ROCKRADIO.com and Zen Radio.
  • CasaTunes removed support for the SqueezeBox plugin. Logitech is terminating its support for its cloud based service (MySqueezebox.xom) on 3/19. Any other music services available in SqueezeBox will no longer be available (ie. Slacker).
