February 26th, 2010Enhancements, Additions, Changes:
· Movie Info Search: Finally, a search method that works well. Extensive testing found that searching even mis-spelled titles are now being found on CCDb. Titles not found on CCDb should still be available via IMDb and those titles are still submitted to CCDb for inclusion into the database.
· MusicCenter Lyrics: The MusicCenter now includes a new Lyrics feature. While a CD or music file is playing, you can choose "Lyrics" from the View Menu to search and display the words for the currently playing song.
Fixes:
· Corrected Error on selection of a VizFX.
· Corrected a problem with window split in CD Player.
· Other fixes.

February 8th, 2010Enhancements, Additions, Changes:
· Queues: In Edit Mode, the Select Video File button now opens a menu which includes Create/Edit Queue. The resulting Queue Edit Window allows choosing multiple video files for the current selection. This cool new feature can be used to play Episodes of a show, or perhaps a few trailers before the movie starts. An unlimited number of videos may be added. When the PLAY button is pressed the new Queue Screen is displayed. There, you have the choice to play a selected title, or Play All.
· Find on Netflix: In Edit Mode, the Title menu now includes this handy tool for looking up the current Title on Netflix, displaying the search results in the Web Browser.

January 28th, 2010Enhancements, Additions, Changes:
· Play Videos with Default Application: You can now choose to play videos with the default, associated application as an option. Go to Options > Behavior to activate this feature.
· Improved Movie Info Search: A new search method has been implemented that should provide better movie search results.
· Search IMDb ID # dialog: A new interface has been created when re-searching movie info from the Movie Info Review window allowing to enter and search the IMDb ID number for more exact search results.
· Auto-submit to CCDb: If movie info is not found in CCDb, but found on IMDb, the IMDb URL is automatically submitted to CCDb for faster (MUCH faster) search results in the future.
Fixes:
· Addressed issues with certain virus scanners versus CineCenter modules.
· Corrected some problems with Add Selections dialogs
· Improved error handling and confirmation dialogs for Backdrop download.
· Addressed some vertical spacing issues in the Thumbnail Browser that caused long, 4-line titles to "bump" the following thumbnails down to the next row.
· Corrected problem with Title Index List not refreshing properly.

January 15th, 2010Enhancements, Additions, Changes:
· NetRadio: Free Internet Radio. Choose from hundreds of SHOUTcast radio stations. This new MUST HAVE feature displays any found CD Covers beside the stream info and a Realtime Spectrum Analyzer while the music is playing.
· CD Info: In the MusicCenter Audio CD Player, CD information (Artist, Album, Song Titles) and CD cover art are retrieved.
· Submit Backdrop: To compliment the new Movie Backdrops feature a new menu item has been added to the Image menu in CineCenters Edit Mode allowing you to easily contribute backdrop images you've created.
· Find in Title Index: In the View and Edit screens' slide-out Title Index you can now type into the text box and the index list will adapt to whatever match it finds... as you type.
· Advanced Query: A new Advanced Query dialog in the Browse Thumbnails screen provides a way to perform complex searches. Writing a query is easy as making selections from the Field & Query Command menus! Comprehensive enough for those advanced users familiar with constructing complex filters, yet simple enough for the rest of us, this new search tool provides a powerful way to search your collection.
· F1 Help: Strike the F1 key at nearly any screen for online help documentation about the current screen. The F1 key will launch your default web browser to visit the Help web pages at cinecentersoftware.com.
Fixes:
· Fixed NR Rating Menu selection that incorrectly set MPAA Rating to R, and added new UR selection for "Unrated".
· CineCenters "Year" field is now an integer allowing advanced queries ("") to be performed. CineCenter Setup will convert your existing database into this new format.
· Corrections made in Setup.

January 5th, 2010Enhancements, Additions, Changes:
· Submit Title to CCDb: You can now contribute movie titles to the CineCenter Online Database! From the Title Menu (in Edit Mode) choose "Submit to CCDb". It takes only a couple seconds to submit a title and your contributions will help CineCenter grow and make title searches easier for all CineCenter users. Note: No personal information is transferred... Ever!
· Movie Backdrops: CineCenter View Selections screen will now display movie backdrop images that are found in the CineCenterBackdrops folder by the same filename as the Movie Title. For example, "The Movie Title (2009)" = "The Movie Title (2009).jpg". The backdrop image will display after 5 seconds of navigation inactivity.
· Check for Backdrop Image: New items in the (related) Cover Image Menu provide ways to search for Backdrop Images automatically, or search Google Images for movie wallpaper to create your own custom Backdrop. In a photo editor, just crop a desired section of a wallpaper then save the image (named exactly as the movie title) into the CineCenterBackdrops folder. If you would like to contribute your custom Backdrop creations, simply attach the image file to an email to: ccdbsubmit@cinecentersoftware.com
· Get YouTube Videos: Edit Mode, Options, and the Web Browser now include "Get YouTube Video" menu selections. Enter the URL of a YouTube video page and CineCenter will download the FLV file to the location you specify.
· Added "Search YouTube Trailers" menu selection in CineCenter Edit -- removed "Search IMDb for a Trailer".
· Changed main menu icon mouse-over event displaying the same, but larger transparent icon in the screenspace.
· High-Quality resampling of background images for certain menu screens.
· Added ability to get Weather Conditions and 5-Day Forecast for regions outside the USA. Options > Weather now offers selection of "USA" or "Outside the USA" with a Search Tool to lookup your City Name and get the associated Weather Location ID for your region of the world.
· Added Weather Map Titles/URLS in Options allowing you to enter three weather map image URLs to download and display on the Weather Maps screen and another for the Current Conditions screen.
· Clicking on the Weather Map in the Current Conditions screen will display that map image as a Popup.
· Created the WeatherCenter MapsDb tool for easy selection from over 170 weather maps.
· A new "Choose Image" dialog provides image preview, full-size popup, file information, and other useful tools.
· Changed Title Menu selection, "Go to Title on IMDB" to "Go To/Enter IMDb" which allows entering the IMDb URL if one is not found. Previously, creating a New Blank Record provided no way of entering the IMDb URL. If the IMDb URL is entered, CineCenter will open the Web Browser screen to visit the IMDb webpage.
Fixes:
· Corrected a problem that prevented some old weather map images from being deleted as needed.
· Increased character limit of Actors to 200.
· Corrected a problem in MusicCenter PlayList Manager when all music files in a Play List were not found.
· Corrected a problem that prevented some FLV files from displaying properly.

· Added the ability to play ISO files (DVD image files).
· Added IMDb alternate to CCDb. If movie info not found on CCDb then CineCenter will attempt to get movie info from IMDb.
· Auto-Resize small DVD Cover Images. If cover image is less than 750 pixels in Height, then it is automatically resized to 750px on Import.
· "Save Title Edits" has been added to Title drop-menu in CineCenter Edit Mode. This will update the Title/Caption under the associated Thumbnail in the Browse Screen.
Fixes:
· Corrected a problem that prevented underscores from being removed from video filenames.

February 19th, 2008· Edit In Table: A popular customer request was the ability to edit inside the Table View, therefore, new Table Editing Features were added to the Table View screen via an Edit Menu in the Table View Screen. Selecting "Edit In Table: On/Off" will activate Table Edit Mode.
· Moved the End Time into a small clock icon next to Runtime. Clicking this icon will display the End Time, the calculated time of the end of a movie.
· Corrected an argument between sort and indexing.
· Screen resolutions greater than 1024 x 768 are now enabled with CineCenter in a fixed position in the center of the screen.
