  • This version is revertible
  • In case you want to revert back to previous version of the software, you can replace the current executable file with the older one (make sure to save it beforehand).
  • IT IS NOT ADVISABLE to run this version along with previous versions of the software.
  • Added an option to configure left clicks on the meter icons in the system tray. (Option available in the Settings.)
  • Added an option to configure double-clicks on the meter icons in the system tray. (Option available in the Settings.)
  • Added an option to the context menu of disk drive meters to open the root folder on that drive using Windows Explorer.

  • Added support for larger readout numbers for each of the tray icons, which should improve readability of the meters.
  • Added support for gray-scale color scheme for the meter icons, which should improve readability of the tray meters for users who prefer high contrast color schemes.
  • Added a new feature to track disk activity on per-disk basis. Available to track: HDDs, SSDs, Flash memory, External and Internal types.
  • Added new information window type to prodive additional disk information.
  • Added additional Settings associated with the new features.
  • Added a new feature to suppress warning popups at startup.

New in Compact Tray Meter 1.1 (Jun 4, 2010)

  • Fixed the issue when the program was causing a security warning after the system was rebooted. This was caused by the program still retaining the internet zone marker that is attached by the Operating System to any file downloaded off the Internet.
