  • This release adds support for displaying an animated GIF in photo booth screens. This makes it possible to animate buttons etc. and to place these animations over the live view display
  • Animated GIFs can also be used for the countdown and be placed over the live view display if required
  • The ready screen can now display an optional overlay making it much simpler to display buttons and text over the live view display in the ready screen.
  • 6 new "Instagram" style filters are available and are previewed in real time in the live view display. The built in filters can be replaced with user defined filters if required.
  • Capturing animated GIFs in video booth mode has been enhanced to support capture with the camera in photo mode with the ability to crop the live view display, display overlays and to use color, B&W, sepia or the new Instagram style filters.
  • The photo booth setup wizard has been enhanced to include 'boomerang' animated GIFs and to allow the number of copies to be selected in the print confirmation screen.
  • Displaying the live view mirrored and the preview after each photo unmirrored can confuse some users and so a new option to mirror the previews has been added. Also added in this release is the option to mirror photos in prints and animated GIFs. This is useful if users are writing words in light painting and other set ups because it means they don't have to write in reverse.
  • The default profile can be set to randomly select a profile after each set of photos. Uses include randomly selecting green screen backgrounds or randomly displaying different sets of animations in a "magic" mirror photo booth.
  • The camera settings dialog now has the option to take test photos using the current settings for each bank and can be displayed using a photo booth shortcut button. This makes it easier for operators to adjust camera settings when setting up a photo booth.
  • There a number of enhancements to the XML settings files to allow advanced users to create location independent settings so that it is easier to share settings on different photo booths. The settings files can also be used to setup profiles and the photo booth shortcut buttons.
  • This release also fixes a problem animating the GIF_processing.jpg screen and a problem with Facebook users not being logged out after uploading photos.
