February 15th, 2011· New: DarkAdapted Pro: When changing between percentage and raw value displays using [tab] followed by [spacebar] in the Control Window, all Control Windows on all screens change to reflect the new type of display.
· Fixed Control Window bug where tabbing to change Gamma values would only work when pressing [enter] and not when [tab] was pressed to move to the next field.

February 8th, 2011· Updated User Guide, Read Me File, License File, and added new Quick Start Guide. All are available via the Help menu (Mac) or Options menu (Windows).
· Quick Start Guide is offered for viewing when opting to Try DarkAdapted from the Welcome to DarkAdapted window. The dialog may be suppressed.
· Fixed bug where Gamma Toggle Keys would ignore some displays on multiple-display setups, even with Apply to all displays was specified.

August 6th, 2009· License window now appears only when DarkAdapted detects that you are opening a build that is more recent than any other build previously launched.

June 16th, 2009· About window now displays name/organization and serial number. For copies registered before Build 218, the name will appear as “DarkAdapted Pro User.”
· Chime and AppleScript Scheduling window: Selecting an event now displays the next event execution time below and to the right of the Events listing. Hold down a modifier key while clicking an event to display the next execution time with dates.
· Updated documentation with section explaining how to use DarkAdapted with display calibration software.
Performance Enhancements:
· Build framework has been completely rewritten.
· Minor tweaks for Mac OS 10.5.7.

· Changed layout of Registration Window. Paste Serial Number button now operates much more rapidly when large amounts of text have been copied.
· Standard permissions on installed and created files are now read/write/execute for owner and group, and read/execute for other users.
Internet Update Improvements:
· Improvements made to performance and reliability of Internet Update Checks.
· Internet Update now yields time back to time display updates (and the rest of DarkAdapted) as it checks for updates.
· Internet Update now downloads updates to the user's Downloads folder, unless that folder cannot be found, in which case it reverts to downloading to the desktop.
· Internet Update continues to preserve existing download files with the same name, but now automatically renames duplicate files, instead of presenting a Save As dialog.
· Internet Update may now be forced to check in asynchronous mode by holding down the [control] and [shift] keys when beginning an update check.
· Internet Update should now automatically complete installation, instead of sometimes stopping after the downloaded disk image mounts. Note that this will only occur when performing an in-application upgrade using version 2.3.5b1 or later.
Bug Fixes:
· Fixed bug where fixed-size windows could open at an incorrect size when opened by a different version of DarkAdapted.
· Fixed issue where some scroll wheel drivers could affect non-front windows.
· Fixed bug in sunrise and sunset calculation where longitude could be reset to 90 degrees if a longitude greater than 90 degrees was used.
· Chime and AppleScript Scheduling Window: Sorting events by “Time” now correctly sorts numerically instead of alphabetically, and also takes into account the time of sunrise and sunset events.
· Fixed display of Gamma Toggle Keys on Windows Vista.
October 22nd, 2008· Preferences Window: Miscellaneous Options: Refresh gamma values now defaults to “on” with a period of 5 seconds. This only affects new installations, and will not affect existing settings.
· Waking from sleep will now refresh screen gamma(s) within 2 seconds, if machine has been in sleep mode for more than 3 minutes.
· Edit menu's Edit Presets... and Edit Preset Sets... now function without a Control window open.
· System-wide menu commands that bring DarkAdapted to the front now do so with a delay of 0.25 seconds, to work around window layering issues.
· Fixed bug on some testing setups where Color Picker would appear invisibly after first access.

October 23rd, 2007· Control Window: You may now change gamma slider values via the keyboard. Click a gamma value readout (or press the TAB key) to select the value for editing, then type in a new value.
· To implement the change, press the RETURN, ENTER, or ESCAPE key, move the mouse, click in another area of the window, or to also select the next readout display press TAB or SHIFT-TAB.
· The TAB key cycles through the displays in this order: Red, Green, Blue, None. SHIFT-TAB reverses the editing order.
· Type a percent sign (%) after the value to enter a percentage; all displays change to show gamma percentages, if necessary. Enter a number without a percent sign to specify a raw value (0 to 255); all displays change to show raw gamma values, if necessary.
· When editing a percentage value, the percent sign (%) is not selected, so that the text you enter will automatically replace only the numbers, followed by the percent sign.
· Press the SPACE key to toggle between entering percentage and raw values.
· Fixed bug where Save Current Screen as Preset would be unresponsive if selected from the system-wide menu.
· Preferences Window: Modified control captions for clarity and fixed duplicate help tags.
