    · Full compatibility with Windows 7 - 32 bits and 64 bits Editions. Folder Scout is now fully compatible with Windows 7 family. Both 32 bits and 64 Bits Edition are supported.
    · Added new Shared Catalogs Engine for LAN/WAN environments. Folder Scout version 1.3 includes a completely new architecture that dramatically improves performace on networked environments like Offices, Company Branches, Corporative WANs, etc. This new architecture is based on the fact that one PC (Server PC) shares its Folder Catalogs with other PCs (Clients PCs) in the LAN/WAN. That is what we call Server Shared Catalogs or more simply, from a Client PC point of view, Remote Catalogs.
    · Added Search Keyword Highlight in results list. This new feature shows search keywords highlighted in the folder search result list. This provides a visual aid to identify folder we are looking for more easily. This option can be configured by user under Applications Preferences.
    · New Restart function. Folder Scout can now be restarted in a single click. It can be used to refresh LAN settings and network drives availability, for example, when changing from office to home.
    · Improved Graphic User Interface. Folder Scout includes some changes related to GUI, including new Vista and Windows 7 icons for Drives, Folders, etc.
    · New color skin 'Silver Scout'. A new color scheme has been added, as suggested by many users, resulting in better color contrast and more "Windows like" style. The new skin is named 'Silver Scout' and offers a clean white background for an easier text reading.
    · New Welcome window. A new Welcome window has been added to give basic information to new users, including tips about F7 Hotkey and direct links to Help and Tips. This option can be configured by user under Applications Preferences.
    · Minor fixes and changes. Version 1.3.0 also includes minor fixes to known bugs and issues found in previous releases.
