January 30th, 2012· A new timeout feature was added to the command line version of CLF
· A timeout parameter has been added that tells the application to exit if no file copy progress is made within a configured number of minutes

July 5th, 2010· The source code has been compiled with the latest Microsoft VS2010 C++ compiler. There should be no differences perceived by the end user except that the application may run slightly faster.
· Under Windows Vista and Windows 7; CLF could fail to properly read the command line parameters. Windows Vista and Windows 7 will sometimes insert spaces in-between commands lines parameters passed to an application where Windows XP and previous versions of Windows would not. This was throwing off source code CLF uses to parse the command line options.
May 5th, 2010· It seems that most people are now using the Dot Net version of Copy Large Files. That version contain bug fixes and enhancements.
September 7th, 2009· The installer has been rewritten for more trouble free installations in Windows Vista and Windows 7.
· The applications setup options and logging files are now stored in the standard application data folders for Windows Vista and Windows 7.
January 2nd, 2009· A potential problem was fixed were the status column on the main page could display uninitialized memory. This potential problem was not reported by any users
June 18th, 2007· When an unexpected exception error occurs an error reporting screen will appear that describes the error. This screen had the potential of showing multiple times (cascading).
· There was a bug that occurred when copying files using the wild card feature in the advanced copy window. If the source directory was a root (like c:) the destination directories would be created missing their first letter.
· Copy Large Files has a feature that allows you to enter the file name of a file that does not exist. When the file appears the copy will start. This feature was not working. Entering a file name that did not exist caused an exception error.
· An exception error that could occur during exit has been fixed. When Copy Large Files is first installed and run by a Windows user with Administration privileges and then the application is run by a restricted user (limited account) then the error would occur.
· An exception error that could occur after accepting the Advanced Copy Screen has been fixed.

· The information displayed in the command line version of Copy Large Files (gbclf) has been improved.
December 21st, 2006· When copying files from directories and sub-directories CLF would not find files located in subdirectories that contained a . (dot) in their name.
· A problem where the application would hang when being closed while a file was being copied has been fixed.
· Quotes used for specifying parameters in the command line can now be more than the standard " . Open quote and closed quote are now accepted.
· CLF had a problem where it always copies the first block of the file regardless of the "Don't copy if identically named destination file with same or later date" setting.
· A Microsoft .NET 2.0 version of CLF has been released. The standard Windows version and the .NET version are distributed in the same installation package.
