- This new version has a more powerful rule format which supports wildcards, multiple ports and port ranges, local and domain user accounts and groups. A global protection mode has been added to this version to be used to control internet programs and connections that are not controlled by rules.
- The new kernel components are quicker and smarter than old version, and use less system resources. The new user interfaces have be fully redesigned to provide more features.
- The new notification system supports to play sounds as well as displaying notification messages. A new color scheme system makes it easier to use custom color schemes.

- Users in Rules:
- Now you can specify user accounts to any rule, to have the rule to apply to only the users you specified.
- New Internal Database:
- With the new internal database, Internet Lock is smarter. If you have allowed/blocked a program, it won't bother you to enter password again for a new instance of the same program on the same port; It also can ask for password again for an allowed program if a scheduled rule has expired.

- Internet Lock now supports to assign IP addresses and domains to rules. You can use this new feature to protect certain web sites.
- Internet Time
- You can let Internet Lock use internet time for schedule options. With this new feature, users will not be able to bypass the schedule enabled rules by changing the system time.
- Close Blocked Programs
- With this new feature enabled, Internet Lock can automatically close the blocked programs.
