Features Added:
· Support for Windows XP SP2 to have Look 'n' Stop registered in the security center.
· More protections against plugins reporting wrong data
· Improvements of applications starting another one which connects, especially when the parent application closes very quickly
Changes:
· In the "Packet content" dialog box, the field Frag. Offset is now real offset in the IP packet.
· In case of fragmented packets, no longer bad ports (for TCP/UDP) or bad type-code (for ICMP) are displayed
· Improvements for rule edition plugins, to enhance the possibility for a single rule.
· non-existing applications are now removed only if the number max of application is almost reached (this will solve some issues with connecting applications automatically created and deleted).
Fixes:
· Rule copying feature (with a right click in the Internet filtering page) could cause crashes if the rule was a raw one or if application were associated to the rule.
· In some cases, the password or the application list were lost when Look 'n' Stop is stopped during Windows shutdown
· MF & DF flags were switched in the "Packet content" dialog box
· In locked mode Plugins and DLLs buttons were still available in the "Advanced options" dialog box
· In full locked mode, the buttons on the Log page were still accessible.
· Change in the signature handling to support some particular executables
· Some packets provided to the application were truncated, this caused sometime wrong information in the log (in particular in case of small UDP packets where the port number was wrong)
· Crash when detecting some DLLs in particular cases
· Under Windows XP SP2, some crash could occur after Look 'n' Stop or Windows were closed, if the feature "Watch DNS calls" was enable.
· The number of colors to display the icons in the connected application list was incorrect.
· Some fixes regarding the service mode start under XP SP2.
