January 15th, 2010· Integration of Extension Pack EP07 (Plates)
· Integration of Service Pack SP06
· Extended installation options with administrator rights (it is possible to install in the account with administrator rights and start up in all accounts with user rights)
· An example of transmission calculations is available in help (gearing, shafts, bearings, belts, chains...)
· Added support for AutoCAD versions 2010 and 2011
Furthermore, the below described problems have been solved:
· Calculation of forces and bending moment for spur gear (external, internal, planetary). Everything is newly calculated on an operating pitch diameter. Refinement is related to Ft, Fr and Mo in paragraph [12.0] (Importance - low)
· Refinement of Conversion of Units (Importance - medium)
· Refinement of image switching in the calculation of plates and in the module of technical formulas in Office 2007/SP1. (Importance - medium)
· Refinement of Calculation of Plates - the calculation of rectangular plate, paragraph [4], cases 2 and 9 – wrong recalculation of force. (Importance - high)
· Refinement of the calculation of width between centres (planet/crown wheel) for non-zero backlash in planetary gearing. (Importance - high)
· Refinement of the interface for SolidEdge ST2. (Importance - high)
· Beams, extended range of input cells (dimensions, load...), added IPE Profile. (Importance - low)
· V-belts (SI version): corrected pulley slot angle (SPZ, SPA, SPB, SPC) for selected diameters. (Importance - low)
· Internal gearing ANSI, refinement of the conditioned formatting for bending safety coefficient. (Importance - low)
May 24th, 2007· New worm gearing calculation (DIN, AGMA)
· Integration of the Extension Pack EP06 (bearings III - FAG)
· Chinese language (traditional, simplified)
· Other modifications, corrections and enhancements
· Worm gearing calculation
· The calculation is used for geometrical and strength designs and worm gearing check. Gearing can be designed for selected safety coefficients including optimization e.g. for weight, efficiency, centre-line distance, etc. Worm gearing thermal analysis is added to the calculation of geometry and safety coefficients (wear, seizure, deflection, fatigue break). The calculation is in accordance with DIN 3996, DIN 3975-1, DIN 3975-2 and ANSI/AGMA 6022-C93 and /AGMA 6034-B92. Outputs to 2D and 3D CAD systems are supported.
· Other modifications, corrections and enhancements of MITCalc calculations
· Calculation compatibility with MSOffice 2007 (user interface modifications)
· AutoCAD 2008 support added
Bearings I - SKF:
· The recommended value of maximum permissible axial load was removed for tapered roller and ball thrust bearings (only applies to bearings mounted with an adapter)
· Ball thrust bearings – the wrong value of radial coefficient "X" was corrected
· Correction of some pictures in roller and needle bearings
· Correction of 3D drawing in some tapered roller bearings
· Correction of 2D and 3D drawing in some spherical-roller thrust bearings
Bearings II - INCH:
· Correction of the calculation of a pair of ball bearings with oblique contact for "MRC Bearing Group" bearings with contact angle 15°
· Specification of the calculation of life factor a23 precisely to "DIN ISO 281 Bbl 1:2003-04"
