MixMeister Pro Changelog

What's new in MixMeister Pro 6.0

Dec 20, 2011
  • Key codes make selecting the next track even easier. You don't have to be a music theorist to take advantage of key signatures. Keycodes are alphanumeric representations of the key signature for a track. Just select a track with an identical or adjacent keycode to get a compatible key match. (See Using keycodes to find compatible songs.)
  • Join the Hive. Online storage for your catalog and playlists make it possible for you to access your music information from any of your computers. (See Join the Hive.)
  • New customization for video. Add transitions between video clips (wipe, push, fade…) and adjust how often video clips change. (See Creating and working with video montages and Previewing and showing your videos.)
  • Text and talk over. Communicate with the crowd. $1.99 drink specials? Someone’s birthday? Just got something to say? Use text or talk over to pass the message along. (See Playing your mix live.)
  • Expanded catalog metadata. Richer metadata for tracking, the date a file was added, bitrate, rating, track number, key codes – even add comments. (See Choosing the Catalog columns you want to display.)
  • Support for USB mixing consoles and other multimedia hardware. Use the tools that work best for you to make your mix. USB consoles, multimedia keyboards, they work just like you’d expect. MixMeister now supports Griffin Technology’s PowerMate, Interlink Electronics RemotePoint, and multimedia keyboards.
