December 23rd, 2009· Better context menu support: file thumbnails now refresh more consistently when using the Explorer context menu, and error messages / warnings have been made more user friendly and helpful.
· ZIP file bug fix: in previous versions of the program, ZIP files were displayed in the browser mode tree view when they really shouldn't have been. This is fixed now.
· Check for Upgrades: this feature has been modified slightly to make it easier to understand our upgrade policy.
· New toolbar icons: these graphics have been totally re-made with a bigger, more modern look! Never again will you have to stare closely at your screen to figure out which icon to click on!
December 23rd, 2009· Now 100% compatible with Windows Vista! The program is also backwards compatible with previous versions of Windows. Please note that 64-bit versions of Windows are not supported.
· Sleek new visual style for Windows XP and Vista: the user interface no longer looks so clunky and old-fashioned. Rounded buttons and sleek, streamlined controls make for a more pleasing user experience.
· Compliance with UAC: Private Encryptor uses Microsoft's new User Account Control to provide better security when changing program settings, installing, uninstalling, and registering the program. Note: UAC is a Windows Vista feature and does not exist in earlier versions of Windows
