New in REAKTOR 6.0.3 (R16) (Sep 9, 2016)

  • INTRODUCING BLOCKS:
  • Blocks are the new rack-style framework in REAKTOR 6. Experience the speed and limitless flexibility of modular patching combined with all the benefits of working in the digital domain. Get total recall of complex rack creations. Load as many instances of oscillators, filters, VCAs, LFOs and sequencers as you need. Plus, discover the latest content as new Blocks and Blocks patches are built and shared by the REAKTOR community.
  • POWER DEVELOPER FEATURES:
  • Three key additions extend REAKTOR's workflow efficiency and sampling power at the Core level. The Table Framework feature allows flexible and efficient data sharing throughout REAKTOR, including from Primary to Core levels. This opens up new possibilities for building custom sampler engines. Bundled wires are like multicore cables, making intra-level patching cleaner and more elegant. Scoped buses allow 'wireless' connectivity across multiple structure levels.
  • MAJOR LIBRARY REVISIONS:
  • Both Primary and Core Macro libraries have been re-organized for ease of use with new categories and more intuitive folder structures. This makes prototyping and instrument building workflows more efficient. The Core library macros have been re-written for improved sound quality and more efficient use of CPU, letting you build more complex devices that sound better than ever. The library is also extended to include new anti-aliased oscillators, ZDF filters, envelopes, LFOs, effects, and sampler macros that make use of the Table Framework.
  • MODERN INTERFACE:
  • Numerous interface improvements give builders increased readability and optimized use of screen space. Curved and colored anti-aliased wires allow builders to quickly differentiate wire and port types visually. There are also numerous builder workflow enhancements including improved structure editing, and a revised property and navigation pane.

  • Updated OSC settings window for comprehensive setup of OSC based controllers
  • OSC learn and improved OSC and MIDI controller handling for fast, easy mapping
  • New OSC Array modules are designed to send and receive OSC messages in array format using indices
  • Improved sample management: Manage samples when in Play Mode, and more
  • Mouse control fine tuning
  • Bookmark behavior for Screensets

New in REAKTOR 5.7 (Jun 26, 2013)

  • With this update, Reaktor introduces numerous workflow improvements targeted both at those building ensembles and those who are just using them. Take the new Play Mode, for example: Instead of giving you all the options to change the structure like in the classic workspace (now called Edit mode), the interface was streamlined to maximize the Ensemble Panel space. See below for a list of all changes:
  • Caching of compiled Core Cell structures, avoids re-compiling at each startup to significantly decrease loading time when calling up the same Ensemble again
  • Distinction between Play and Edit Modes for increased usability, shorter loading times and a better host recall implementation when using REAKTOR as a plug-in
  • Screensets - a new tool to help you navigate your Ensembles, featuring auto-save of the state of your workspace and helpful keyboard shortcuts
  • Universal Wire Debugging Mode, consistent even when navigating between Core and Primary structures

New in REAKTOR 5.6 (Jun 26, 2013)

  • Alongside full 64 Bit support for Windows and Mac OSX, the latest REAKTOR 5.6 update will appeal particularly to the advanced user community, with several new features for those building their own or modifying existing instruments.
  • Improved navigation concept
  • Added searchbox to add modules
  • Added breadcrumb navigation to structure view
  • New 800-page module reference manual
  • Scrolling of structures with Alt+Drag over structure
  • Added hide frame and transparency property to XY module
  • Added drag copy to other structure view
  • Recorder shows recorded time when recording
  • Add abort function to file not found dialog on project recall
  • Improved loading time for ensembles with many Send/Receive terminals
  • PNG file support for picture modules
