New in REScheck 4.6.4 (Apr 18, 2017)

  • REScheck version 4.6.4 corrects the U-factor requirements applied to crawl walls in climate zones 5-8 of 2015 IECC and 2016 New York City. Further, it includes a correction to 2016 New York City code that discontinues enforcement of the prescriptive SHGC requirement when using the C405 performance methodology.

  • REScheck version 4.6.3 (build version 4.6.3.0) includes support for the 2016 New York City Energy Conservation Code. It discontinues support for the 2010 New York Energy Conservation Construction Code, 2012 Illinois Energy Conservation Code, and 2012 Washington State Energy Code. Above-grade walls specified as "Other" now allow specification of "Framed" or "Mass" construction type.

  • Includes numerous user interface changes that serve the purpose of filtering inspection checklist requirements based on project data, enhance the panel certificate output, and resolves several requirement assignment issues for certain energy codes in certain climate zones. New in REScheck 4.5.0.2 (Jun 12, 2014)

  • REScheck 4.5.0.2 includes the redesigned Inspection Checklist and Requirements screen for 2012 IECC. This release also adds support for the 2012 Washington State Energy Code, the Illinois Energy Conservation Code, the Utah Energy Conservation Code, and discontinues support for the 2000 and 2003 IECC energy codes. 4.5.0.3 fixes a bug for mass walls in North Carolina zone 5.
  • The redesigned Inspection Checklist organizes code requirements by stage of construction, provides code section numbers corresponding to each code requirement, and provides online links to references and clarifications for most code requirements. Coupled with this report redesign is the Requirements screen within the REScheck user interface that gives the user an ability to review, verify, and document mandatory and prescriptive energy code requirements that are listed in the Inspection Checklist.
