May 2nd, 2012Additions and Corrections:
Made several major and minor changes to the RECPL:
· Revised the way if ... then ... endif statement handles the conditional testing
· Added a User Message function to add helpful reminders to your program.
· Added a bold function, to allow a key to be bolded programmatically.
· For troubleshooting, Clicking “trac” while pressing the Shift key now displays the value of all variables and their name to the Running Tape Display.
· While in Program Mode (F11), changed “Program Mode” to the name of the program.
· Clicking init on the PKP generated an error message if lbl init was not assigned.
· On loading a program for the first the “ ... Overwrite current program...” message appeared.
· Using the “Stop” function to troubleshoot the program would cause the REC to quit, now it works as advertised.
· Corrected an error which closed the REC if one tried to use an X or Y as the first letter in their variable.
· While in Memory Array (F12), adding values to registers, using Shift+Click, left the value in the Entry Registry.
· Under certain conditions using the Esc key would leave the stack in disarray.
November 17th, 2010· Minor change to Board Feet Calculation, now shows last entered datum.
September 9th, 2010· Added Date Arithmetic functions to the Standard Keypad ([Now] and [dD8]).
· Rearranged the "Practice Arithmetic" ([p+], etc.) function buttons.
· Corrected problem with the Program KeyPad occasionally not resetting.
· Updated the programming manual.
· Corrected minor problem with [Reset] when the Running Tape Display is not full.
April 7th, 2010Additions and Corrections :
· Added the letter "D" to divide, for some regional keyboards that don't have the "/" key.

· Added "Extended Keys" skins.
· Added 'Floor' and 'Ceiling' functions (to the [rnd] function).

· Added option to save Convert Keypad Constants to memory.

· Save Setting changed Display from default to 0, under certain conditions.

July 5th, 2009Additions and Corrections:
· Standard Keypad, added Board Feet calculation, [f.d] button.
· Added Triple and Quad insulation builds to the diameter options of the AWG function in the Magnetics Keypad.
Corrections or revisions:
· File Menu, www.j-a-associates.com went to .../whats_new.htm.
· Retrieve Program quit working with Version 9.0.2.
· Magnetics Keypad, AWG function, diameter (inches or mm) to AWG did not work correctly.
· Modified the way bare AWG, nominal circular mil area (CMA) is calculated and displayed. Now calculates and displays any theoretical CMA and diameter.

· Corrected 'C' Core Multiple-Entry Calculator, changing units did not update the display.
October 29th, 2008· Corrected Tool Tip for the [View] command button.
· Modified all of the Multiple-Entry Calculators (MEC) to eliminate occasional hang ups when moving the cursor off the calculator.
· Modified the MECs to make them more user friendly.
· When solving Polynomials, [f(x)], if the roots weren't real both imaginary numbers had the same sign.
October 20th, 2008· Added the REC Programming Language to allow writing and running programs to expedite multiple keystroke calculations.
· Added sound to Shift-Click 'REG' function (save to register x) for verification that function was performed.
· Clicking [Display(n)] with a large number in the x-register produced a fatal error.
· Revised [dia] (Magnetics KeyPad), replaced bare AWG with insulated (PTFE) AWG.
· Alt+[Reset], using the Virtual Keyboard, didn't clear the radio button.
· Binary divide didn't always produce a correct answer.
· Binary subtracting identical numbers, difference was not zero.
· Binary KeyPad, using the Virtual Keyboard Shift, didn't clear the radio button.
· Corrected [val] (Convert KeyPad), using 3 significant digit codes.
· Backspace was deleting two characters.
· Revised Save/Retrieve Tape and Memory functions.
· Revised Alt+letter for several operations in the File menu.
· Revised [F12] button to include "F11" ( [F11/F12] ), F12 is now Shift+Click

· Added several Ctrl+letter shortcuts to the File Menu Items.
· Modified the display for Hours, minutes, seconds (h:mm ss.d), Trig KeyPad h:m function.
Corrections:
· further corrections to the FIXed point display.
· Ctrl+G to Save Settings, left the yellow (Ctrl key) light on.
· Under certain circumstances the [S] function on the Standard KeyPad, produced an Error.

May 30th, 2008· Added another multiple-entry function (MFC) calculator to the Trig keypad: arc - Arc Length, Chord, and Angle
· Added 20 storage registers with enhanced features, including naming.
· Standard keypad: moved 'f:d' from the 'Rnd' function to its own button.
· Moved screw size calculation from the Standard keypad to the 'dia' function on the Magnetics keypad.
· Changed the math registers from 3 and 4 to 1 and 2, respectively.
· Added support for systems using Large Size Display (120 DPI) settings.
· Modified the output of the MFCs to place the calculated item(s) in the x (and y) registers.
· Correction: Some of the MFCs were rounding off when sending solutions to the Xreg.
· Correction: Very large binary numbers (62 bits) didn't always work correctly.
· Correction: When pasting (Ctrl-V) to the Xreg with non numbers in the clipboard would produce an error message.
· Correction: The [Display(n)/wrdsze(n)] button didn't always reset when changing to and from the Binary keypad.
· Correction: The constant for the permeability of free space was incorrect.
