  • New version R503 now includes an installer/un-installer.

New in Research Assistant R502 (Apr 29, 2014)

  • Research Assistant R502 is now available, making it possible to search not only the National Library of Medicine's PubMed and PubMed Central databases (includes MEDLINE articles) and Google Scholar, but also now includes the Public Library of Science (PLoS) databases.
  • Google Scholar search functionality has been improved, but as Google does not provide an API for Scholar, it still has some limitations.
  • As before, you can also search for books and theses in many university and public libraries in the Research Assistant, just choose the menu option Find/Find Books and Theses!

New in Research Assistant R501 (Apr 28, 2014)

  • Includes a unique Citation Finder: Right click on a journal article in your library and choose 'Find Citations' to find out how many times that article has been cited, optionally downloading the citing articles into your library.

New in Research Assistant R500 (Apr 28, 2014)

  • Allows you to automatically search and catalog full-text Pdf articles stored on your computer.
