New in RolloSONIC 1.0b (May 2, 2007)
- new per-sample processing system for audio modules and real-time configurable sample-rate for control-data;
- global, intelligent control-data smoothing system, at a new sampling rate of 48-Khz, 80-bits per sample per channel, bringing the ability to use audio-data as control-data and vice versa, allowing the option of enabling/disabling time-critical CPU priority;
- further improving the latency control system.
- Along with this version comes various new updates, such as new mouse-status indicator thing, a couple of new mouse-based parameters, new right-click option to get new module or to access configuration menu, new step-size options on Oscillator and Modulator modules, categorization of the new-module menu, 17 more built-in configurations, the removal of many bugs and glitches, and several other, smaller enhancements. Also in this update are 5 new modules... "Audio step-function" (providing ability to digitize the signal-amplitude), "Control step-function" (same as audio version but for control-data), "Control neuron" (to allow simplified, biological simulations), "Control polyphonicator" (to create polyphonic control-data by combining several monophonic/polyphonic control sources), and "Control note-envelope" (providing standard ADSR envelope functionality - and then some).
