December 4th, 2009· Runner’s Studio now supports multiple users! If you have multiple runners in your household, you can now use a single software license of Runner’s Studio to track everyone’s training activities.
· User preferences are now saved with the data file. This means that each user can set their own preferences as well as the preferences are included in the data file backup.
· Moved the "Delete Profile Entry", "Add Profile Entry", and "Profile Chart" buttons to be more visible.
· Profile entries are initially read only. You must either double click a profile item or click the edit button to change a profile entry.
· By popular demand, added the weight entry back to the activity details screen. Weight will still be saved to your user profile.
· Added a quick link to your user profile on the Activity Details screen.
· Added a second Y-Axis plot option to the Charting Training Statistics screen. Plot an option line graph of your time, pace, or distance over your primary graph’s data.
· Added further optimizations to the Charting Training Statistics screen.
· You can now further customize your header stats by Activity Type. (Previously, your header stats included all activity types.) Simply navigate to the menu option User -> My Header to set your header preferences.
· Added color coding to the mini-calendars Activity List (run log) screen. Color coding is based on activity types. Orange corresponds to runs, green to races, blue to swimming, red to biking, and grey to all other activity types.
· Users can now import data from Garmin Training Center that was acquired with the Garmin FR60. Activity heart rate graphs will now be available for this import option.
· Updated application web links to point to new pages on runnersstudio.com.
· Updated web links in the software license agreement.
· Fixed calorie issue on Weekly Stats, Monthly Stats, and Yearly Stats screens where calories were always shown as zero.
· Fixed issue on Home Dashboard screen where previous weeks total were shown in miles when preferences were set to Kilometers. This issue only occurred when previous weeks distance was 0.
· Can now paste images directly to your training notes on the Activity Details screen. Previously, this could only be done in the Journal section.

October 19th, 2009User Profile:
· New User Profile History! You can now track your personal profile statistics separate from your training activities. Use the User Profile to track your weight, resting heart rate, maximum heart rate, body fat percentage, and BMI. You can also record injury notes, wellness notes, and a personal photo for each profile history item. Charts are available for all user profile items.
· For existing users, Weight and Resting Heart Rate information will automatically be imported into your User Profile when you run version 2.1 for the first time.
Heart Rate Features:
· Heart rate data is now imported during the Garmin GPS data import. New Feature!
· Added a new Heart Rate tab under User Preferences. Define heart rate zones to view on all heart rate charts. New Feature!
· Added Heart Rate (bpm) and Heart Rate (% of Max HR) charts to Activity Details and Race details screens. Charts are available if there is associated Heart Rate data imported. New Feature!
· On Activity and Race details screen, now show activity’s average and max heart rate as percentage of maximum heart rate. New Feature!
· As result of Heart Rate changes, changed the overall Heart Rate graph (accessible via the Chart Training Activities menu). This graph no longer displays 65% and 85% guides but rather shows the new 5 heart rate zones
· Weight and Resting Heart Rate entries have been moved from Activity entry screen to the new User Profile screen.
Charting Improvments:
· Can now enlarge charts (Elevation and Heart Rate) that are on Activity and Race details screen. New Feature!
· Enhanced charts on all goals. Can now hover over chart points to see point value. Can also toggle between line, area, and bar charts for goal charts. New Feature!
· Added ability to select points on the home dashboard charts and see actual value of selected point.
General Improvements and Bug Fixes:
· Garmin Training Center import now allows you to import any activity type. New Feature!
· Added temperature units to preferences. Temperature unit will now automatically be set when adding a new activity or race. New Feature!
· Swimming and biking activities now have their own icon on the Activity Log screen.
· Added Indoors and Cloudy weather choices.
· Fixed an issue where Kilogram users would have body weight displayed as pounds when adding a new activity.
· Due to performance enhancements, backups of personal data will now be in two files - one for your Runners Studio data and one for the imported GPS data.
· Fixed bug where customizing columns on the Activity Log would sometimes crash the program.
· Formula used to calculate target heart rate zones on the activity details screen has been updated to be more accurate.
· Fixed auto-update issue where some users with non-English settings were unable to detect new software updates.
· Lose weight goals have been modified to track weight from user profile history. (This goal no longer references the weight that was once was entered on the activity detail screen.)
· Fixed calorie calculations that were not calculated from heart rate information. Some scenarios would display a very large number for calories burned.
October 24th, 2008· Printing introduced! Runner’s Studio now has a Print Center which allows you to create and customize reports from your running data. You can now print your training log, race history, journal, monthly calendar, and various charts.
· On My Training Runs screen, added option to show races (completed and upcoming) on the mini-calendars
· Changed run notes font on Run Entry screen to be the same as the default font in My Journal.
· Can now enter decimal numbers for temperature values on run entry screen.
· Import option now allows you to import race data from Garmin Training Center export files.

· Fixed issue with Lose Weight goal. The goal summary page would crash when trying to view a chart for a completed weight loss goal. Also, the progress par would not show as filled for these completed goals as well. These are both fixed.
August 26th, 2008· View GPS imported runs using Google Earth.
· For GPS imported runs, added option on Run Details screen to select individual laps and display elevation track for the single lap. (Note: This feature will not work on runs imported with version 1.2.6.0 or earlier).
· GPS Imported runs will now default body weight and resting heart rate values to last recorded values.

May 26th, 2008· A quick link to add a New Training Run has been placed in the main menu. Press the new Runner's Studio logo to quickly add new training runs!

· Weekly Stats page automatically highlights the current week of year when it is loaded.
· The Add Training Button has been removed and replaced with distance and time totals for the current and prior week.
· You can now customize the graph which appears on the home dashboard. Choose between line, area, or bar chart. Also, choose to show run data over the past 7, 14, 30, or 60 days.
· An option has been added to let you select which columns of data to display for these screens. You can also put the columns in any order that makes sense to you. And.. yes.. Runner's Studio remembers these settings from session to session!
· As you customize which data to display, you can also highlight the data most relevant to you. Assign a text and/or background color for any column(s) of data.
· Runner's Studio now remembers the column widths on these screens. Go ahead and spend time making each of these screens perfect. Adjust the column widths to your heart's content. Runner's Studio will remember these settings each time you visit these pages. Also added, Runner's Studio will also remember which column of data you last sorted by and in which direction. · Three monthly calendars are now available which highlights your run coverage over any three month span. As you filter your runs with the Run Filter, the monthly calendars are filtered as well.
