July 15th, 2011· If a track is transferred from the main library to a portable device and then also transferred directly from the desktop to the portable device via a drag and drop operation to the device node in the application, the track will be duplicated on the device.
· If a track in a playlist on a device is deleted entirely from the device outside of Songbird, and then the device is plugged back in and mounted in Songbird, a blank row will appear in the Songbird playlist where the deleted track once was.
· If a playlist is re-transferred to a device, Songbird will delete and re-transfer all tracks inside that playlist.
· Dragging and dropping a playlist from a never-before-seen MSC device to the main library will cause a duplicate playlist to be created if the main library already contains a playlist of the same name.
· Songbird will sync empty playlists to devices and leave empty playlists on devices.
· Songbird will create duplicate tracks in the device library when syncing playlists that contain tracks whose metadata has been modified since the last sync.

BUGS FIXED SINCE 1.10.0b1:
· An over-capacity sync operation may cause an application crash.
· Songbird may crash while mounting a device.
· The drop-down menus that determine how files are organized on a device are empty.
· Transfer operations to MTP devices may report errors despite succeeding.
· Songbird will sync empty playlists to devices
· Sync operations may not transfer any tracks to a device if a previous sync attempt was cancelled.
· A playlist may be duplicated on a device if it is transferred to the device multiple times through drag and drop.
· It is possible to create duplicate items in the main library by editing metadata and then dragging tracks from the device to the main library.
· If a user attemps to transfer more tracks to a device than the device can hold, and that transfer attempt represented a subset of the user's library, Songbird will fill the device with a random selection of tracks from the entire music library instead of a random selection from the initial subset.
· Files transferred to a device may be zero-length and unplayable.
· The right-click menu option to import tracks from a device to the Songbird library does not work.
· Songbird may crash upon quitting or disconnecting a device.
· Device playlists may not update correctly after tracks are removed from the source playlist in the main library.
· Downloaded tracks are saved without a file extension and are unplayable.
· Importing from an iTunes library in the first run wizard will also cause music from the default Music folder to be imported.
· Blank lines may appear in the main library after sorting items by track number when those items also contain disc number information.
· The dialog that appears for users who had Media Management enabled is poorly formatted and points to a nonexistent web page.

If you’re interested in the full details, head on over to bugzilla.songbirdnest.com and read up on bug 19334.
