Home panel (updated):
· Redesigned user interface.

Sweeps and Quarantine (updated):
· Automatic scanning (sweeping) and quarantine for both spyware and viruses. You no longer need to launch a scan or schedule a scan yourself, although you still have the ability to do so. The Webroot software periodically scans your computer at optimal times and actively protects your computer as you surf the Internet. You will no longer see options for Quick Sweeps or Full Sweeps, since these types of scans occur automatically. Also, to prevent you from accidently leaving the computer vulnerable to malware attacks, there is no longer a method for turning off virus-scanning.

Shields (updated):
· Automatic shielding, with fewer pop-up alerts. Alerts only open if the Webroot software detects a potential threat or rootkit.
· The following shield options are no longer provided as separate settings: Common Ad Sites shield and System Services shield. These shield functions are now combined with other shielding functions.

My Webroot (new):
· Online account information available in My Webroot, which is a personalized Web interface, available 24 hours a day, every day of the year.
