- The latest release of SPM fixes a number issues including visibility of the output-file folder on 1024x600 displays and folder refresh when importing files from dual cameras configured as USB removable drives.
- Space or backspace refreshes the views of the folder contents. Images will be recognised as stereo pairs by auto-alignment if they share at least twenty corresponding (homologous) features. If not, they will be ignored by Multiconversion to avoid any possible problems.
- Support is provided for saving images for viewing on iPod, iPhone and Android devices with the Hasboro my3D attachment.
- The left/right images are separated by a wide black region necessitated by the viewer's off-centre septum.
- You may view the entire image (with black borders above and below) or precrop to maximise viewing area.
- Parallel side-by-side images may be converted individually (Ctrl+J)or batches of images processed with multiconversion.
- MPO files may be transmitted to the PC and opened by SPM with Fuji W1/W3 cameras using Eye-Fi Pro X2 8GB cards.
- Copy an MPO file to the folder Eye-fi is using and open it to inform SPM of the folder location.
- You can then use Ctrl+Alt+E at any time to display the current contents of the folder.
- When running two Instances of 'Open Image file list', the combined filepaths may now be up to 255 characters in length.

- If there is a common point visible in all images, it is possible to provide a 360 degree rotating view of the subject and if there are a sufficient number of images, stereo 360 degree object-rotation outdoor movies may be created.

- The latest release of SPM provides support for the MPO multiple-picture format, as used by the recently-intoduced Fuji FinePix Real3D W1 digital stereo camera.
- You may directly open the images (in FileOpen Stereo Image) by choosing side-by-side format.
- 'Make/Restore an MPO file' will losslessly-extract the individual JPG images from the MPO file.
- Those images can be auto-adjusted and/or otherwise processed using Multiconversion.
- You can also create an MPO file from existing JPG images.
- An image size of 800 x 600 pixels will display on the Fuji W1 camera and V1 viewer and minimise storage on the SD card.
- Some source images (as produced by PhotoShop for example) may not display correctly on the camera and viewer.
- In that case, use Multiconversion with resampling instead.
- You may use Multiconversion to batch-convert MPO images to a different stereo format that enables alternative viewing methods.
- If you always use the same source and destination folders, you can save time by saving your Multiconversion settings in a named file ('ExtractMPO' for example).
- You may also use Multiconversion to create MPO files from existing images, as mentioned previously.

- If an alv alignment-value file already exists in the folder, its values will be used rather than computing new values.

- SPM will insert 'Internal code'.
- Also allows you to easily create Flash-based slide-shows without requiring any programming knowledge.

- The latest version of SPM allows you to add, delete or change a geographical information tag (GEO tag)in a displayed image.
- The images geographical location is easily and quickly found by searching for a nearby major city with GoogleMaps.
- You may then use GoogleMaps navigation controls to move to the required location and zoom up or down.
- When a GEO-tagged image is loaded into SPM, you may view its location on a map, satellite image, terrain image, combined satellite and map or with the GoogleEarth plugin for Internet Explorer(IE). IE does not have to be your primary browser, just installed on your system.
- GoogleEarth has its own navigation controls that allow you to explore the geographical area.
- For convenience, a GEO tag icon may be added to the toolbar.
