  • Support of additional RAW formats, such as OM1, Canon CR3, and other camera manufacturers.
  • Speedier loading of RAW-formatted images.
  • Revised Explorer dialogs, e.g., new look for the Explorer "Desktop". Dialog elements will now adapt properly to Windows settings for display resolution and scaling.
  • Enhanced RAW Settings dialog provides more advanced RAW rendering options to control white balance, brightness, gamma correction and slope.
  • Image Descriptors:
  • Changed descriptor content can now be carried over to any Image Copies, using a new function in the Descriptor context menu.
  • Descriptor content for a selection of images, folder, or folder trees may now be exported, using tabular or key/value patterns. Supported file formats include XML, CSV (comma-separated values), TSV (tab-separated values) or plain text files, offering multiple options to handle embedded line breaks. The new function may be accessed from the context menu of descriptor forms.
  • Improved Dialogues, User Guidance, Workflow:
  • Enhanced Image Export dialog with new look and feel for improved user guidance. Geographical and IPTC contact information are omitted by default, but can be easily included with the help of new descriptor export options.
  • Dialogs with file selection controls, e.g., Print Selection, Explorers for Search Results or "Open File", were revised for support of Windows display scaling.
  • A new context menu item can replace an original image with the edited version of the image, thus making any applied image tools permanent. This function is especially useful for scans or screenshots, where only a clipped area may ever be needed. Only internally-stored image originals can be replaced that way!.
  • Improved user guidance, if external files can no longer be located once their folder is opened. Helpful hints lay out the available user choices, including a "Browse" button to set the new location of a relocated file.
  • The "New folder" dialog now allows creating several image folders at the same time, based on a multi-line list of folder names. Such a list could be pasted from a document.
  • Revised Geo Explorer:
  • The StudioLine Geo-Explorer now relies on a contemporary browser engine, so that the viewing and marking of geo-ordinates may be kept up to date with changes in web technology.
  • Video Frame Selection:
  • New -/+ buttons allow for the precise selection of a video frame, in addition to the current slider control.
  • A "Copy" button in the video frame selection dialog will place a bitmap of the current frame on the Windows clipboard. From there the image may be imported into a parallel StudioLine instance, or pasted into other applications.
