· Drawback: TeamViewer 3 is not compatible with TeamViewer 2.x and 1.x (but both versions can be installed on the same machine). The reason for that is that the TeamViewer 2.x protocol was based on VNC compatibility which caused several internal problems. With the development of TeamViewer 3 we decided to make a complete cut and implement a new, high performance protocol which helps to improve TeamViewer performance and stability.
