  • Fixed: Waveform Missing or Blurry after Loading into Stopped Deck When loading tracks into deck using the load marker feature, the waveform sometimes failed to draw correctly. It was either blurry or in some cases even totally missing.
  • Fixed: Audio Crackles when Beat jumping Since version 2.10.1 larger skips within a file, such as when using beat jumps were accompanied by a slight click, due to a caching issue.
  • Fixed: Remix Cells Overwritten Despite Disabled Auto-Save Despite turning off the Auto-Save option for edited Remix Sets under certain circumstances, individual cells of Remix Sets were permanently overwritten.
  • Fixed: Pitch Bend Locked When Nudging on X1MK2 When using the X1MK2 in conjunction with Timecode (DVS), nudging the phase on X1's touch strip did not correctly reset itself. Under these circumstances a small amount of pitch bend would remain active and the track would drift out of sync over time.
  • Fixed: Inability to Delete Selected Text Entries It was not possible to delete a text entry that had been selected via Cmd +A / Ctrl+A in the search field and when inline editing fields in the table.
  • Important Notes and Known Issues:
  • Audio Files When opening a sound file in TRAKTOR, which contains more than one ID3 comment created by different applications, only the first one will be shown. After analyzing the track or editing ID3 tags in TRAKTOR, all comments except the first one will be lost.
  • Collection:
  • In order to prevent changes of Beat Grids and BPM, the context menu option 'Enable BPM Lock' should be applied.
  • In case non-locked user grids have already been lost after analyzing, it is possible to recover the grid information by re-importing an older version of the collection.
  • Mac OS X: Using the character '/' or any character between ASCII 0x00 to 0x1F in filenames or folder names causes the missing track message or empty folders in the browser.
  • For enabling TRAKTOR to playback non-DRM AAC or M4A files, iTunes or QuickTime needs to be installed.
  • Metadata sync with TRAKTOR DJ has been disabled in version 2.6.7 until further notice.
  • GUI When moving the TRAKTOR GUI to a secondary screen, the CPU load increases significantly.
  • Loop Recorder Inaccurate phase sync of loop recorder causes flanging in some cases.
  • Preferences:
  • When adding a MIDI controller, all MIDI output ports are activated by default. It is recommended to reconfigure the output port in the Controller Manager preferences for the corresponding device. • Preference option 'Global Settings/Miscellaneous/Fullscreen Resolution' has no effect.
  • Remix decks:
  • Cruise Mode does not support Remix decks . Using Keylock for Remix decks may cause CPU spikes on low-spec computers. Switching to ECO mode is recommended in those cases.
  • Mac OS X comes with 256 as the default limit for the number of files open by a single process. When using 4 Remix decks and loading all cells in each Remix deck it is not possible to load samples anymore when this limit is reached. In order to increase the maximum number of open files add 'ulimit -n 512' to your ~/.profile or equivalent.
  • Stem Files Must Be Analyzed before Loading and playback Due to the large amount of data that must be read from a Stem file, it is currently necessary that Stem files be analyzed before loading into a Stem Deck. It is not possible to load and play a Stem File before analysis is finished.
  • CPU Spike When Enabling Keylock on Stem deck When enabling Keylock on a Stem Deck, you might experience a brief CPU spike. This spike is only temporary and CPU load will return to normal after Keylock has been activated. If you experience this problem, it is recommended that you enable Keylock before you perform.
  • 3.9. Windows Users Must Run the 32-Bit Version of TRAKTOR to Be Compatible with 32-bit Audio Drivers TRAKTOR is now a 64-bit application for OS X and Windows. However, if you are a Windows user who is trying to use older 32-bit audio drivers with TRAKTOR (for example, audio drivers for Pioneer DJ products), you will need to run the 32-bit version of TRAKTOR in order to be compatible with these older drivers by following these steps:
  • Rename the 'TRAKTOR.exe' found in the TRAKTOR 2 folder to 'TRAKTOR 64.exe'. This will be your backup 64-bit application.
  • Go to the x86 folder and move the 32-bit 'TRAKTOR.exe' file to the TRAKTOR 2 folder. Now your TRAKTOR 2 folder should contain both files 'TRAKTOR 64.exe' (64-bit) and 'TRAKTOR.exe' (32-bit). 3. Now you can launch 'TRAKTOR.exe' which will be the 32-bit version of TRAKTOR. You may also create a Desktop shortcut for quick access.
  • This problem does not pertain to OS X as the operating system only supports 64-bit drivers and applications.
  • ALAC Support Only for Windows 10 and Mac OS X Microsoft Windows 10 natively supports Apple Lossless Codec (ALAC) playback, thus restoring this functionality to Windows users. If you previously used ALAC files before QuickTime was deprecated, you can resume using ALAC files by upgrading Windows to version 10. All supported Mac OS X versions already contain an Apple lossless codec, which allows TRAKTOR to play ALAC files.
  • Playback of M4A (AAC) Files Limited to 48kHz on Windows The Microsoft Media Foundation supports playback of M4A (AAC) files, but only up to a maximum sample rate of 48kHz. Attempting to load AAC files with a sample rate higher than this (like 88.2kHz or 96kHz) will result in a file loading error.
  • Windows Upscaling In order for the TRAKTOR interface to display correctly on a Windows system, you must use the 'Aero' setting in the display preferences. Disabling Aero will prevent the upscaling from working.
  • Dell Backup and Recovery Software Will Cause TRAKTOR to Crash We have discovered that Dell Backup and Recovery software, often preinstalled on Dell and Alienware computers, causes a conflict with TRAKTOR and other applications resulting in an 'ntdll.dll' crash. If you experience this crash when trying to launch TRAKTOR, please uninstall the Dell Backup and Recovery software.
  • iTunes View Sort Order Not Published in iTunes library.xml Due to a change in iTunes 12, the selected sort view for playlists is no longer written into the iTunes library.xml, therefore TRAKTOR can no longer reflect the selected sort order from iTunes when viewing the playlists in the iTunes node of the browser. If you want to view the iTunes
  • playlist order in TRAKTOR, please right-click on the playlist in iTunes and choose 'Copy to play order' from the pop-up menu.
  • Crackling during Playback of WMA files on Windows We have diagnosed the issue that is causing the WMA playback problem on Windows, but we still need to implement a workaround for the problem, which will take more time. Therefore, WMA playback issues still exist in this release version.

New in Traktor 2.10.1 (Feb 23, 2016)

  • Stem View now in TRAKTOR software:
  • This version of TRAKTOR provides a 4-track “DAW View” for the Stem Deck similar to the version available on the screens of the KONTROL S8, D2, and S5. The pre-defined colors of the stem tracks will be seen in all waveform color modes except for “Spectrum” – in this mode, the 4 stem tracks will be drawn with the colors derived from the frequency spectrums of the tracks.
  • Upgraded Beat & Downbeat detection algorithm:
  • An update has been made to the Beat Detection algorithm that will improve accuracy when analyzing files of varying genres and tempos. The new “Automatic” setting (which replaces the old “60-200” setting) uses new artificial intelligence techniques to help improve the tempo and downbeat results (for example, Drum & Bass tracks will have tempos in the 170BPM range instead of 85BPM). It is recommended to use this setting if your collection contains a wide variety of genres which you want to analyze together. This improvement only affects newly-analyzed tracks. There is no need to reanalyze your collection if your tracks already have correct Beat Grids.
  • Improved Key Detection algorithm:
  • The Key Detection algorithm has also been updated to improve accuracy when analyzing files.
  • Additional Browser Font Sizes:
  • As screen resolutions increase, it has created the need to have greater font sizes in the Browser. TRAKTOR now allows for font sizes greater than 16pt.
  • New Anonymous Usage Data Tracking:
  • TRAKTOR now features anonymous usage data tracking which allows NI to learn about the types of computers and operating systems being used to run TRAKTOR (for improving our compatibility and performance testing scenarios) and general information about how the software is being used (the size of the Collection, number of tracks played, preferred screen layout, etc.) to help us refine features and workflows.
  • Fixed a hang/freeze during playback:
  • There was an issue related to Stripe generation and retrieval that would sometimes cause TRAKTOR to hang during playback. This issue has been fixed.
  • Fixed hang/freeze when importing a Collection:
  • Importing a Collection would freeze when choosing to import tags from the Collection (importing tags from the Files worked correctly). This issue has been fixed.
  • Fixed crash when changing Root Directory:
  • There was an issue which would cause TRAKTOR to crash when attempting to change the Root Directory. This has now been fixed.
  • Increased the maximum Cover Art size:
  • In previous versions of TRAKTOR, Cover Art images were limited to a maximum of 1024x1024 pixels in size. Cover Art images with a size up to 5000x5000 can now be imported.
  • Preview Player starts from the Load Marker:
  • We have fixed an issue that would cause the Preview Player to start playing from the beginning of a file rather than starting from the Load Marker.
  • Timecode CD caused “cue shift” in Relative Mode:
  • There was a case where using Timecode CDs in Relative mode would result in undesired jumps in playback position when starting the timecode from the start. This has been fixed.
  • Second KONTROL F1 was not detected:
  • There was an issue where TRAKTOR would only identify one KONTROL F1 at launch even if a second F1 was connected. The new version of the Controller Editor included with TRAKTOR 2.10.1 fixes this issue.
  • Triggering empty cell would not stop playing sample:
  • In the Remix Deck, there was a bug where triggering an empty cell would not always stop the playing sample in the same slot (column). This has been fixed.
  • Previously-analyzed Stem Files couldn’t be re-analyzed:
  • If a Stem File was analyzed on one computer and then transferred to another computer, it wasn’t possible to trigger analysis of the file on the second computer. This issue has now been fixed.
  • Fixed crash when loading Stem Files:
  • There was an issue where, if attempting to load lots of Stem Files quickly into a Stem Deck, a crash could sometimes occur. This has now been fixed.
  • Load from Preview Player to Deck only worked once:
  • There was a bug where the “Load from Preview Player into Deck” function would only work the first time it was triggered. This has been fixed.
  • Fixed a crash on Shutdown:
  • There was an issue that could cause TRAKTOR to crash on shutdown which has now been fixed.
  • Master Tempo display would disappear on KONTROL S8:
  • When using the TEMPO knob at the center of the KONTROL S8 to adjust the Master Tempo, the Master Tempo Display would disappear while still adjusting the tempo. This has been fixed so the display will close shortly after you stop adjusting the TEMPO knob.
  • Windows systems with Intel HD 3000 Graphics Adapters would crash when using KONTROL S8:
  • There is an OpenGL bug with the Intel HD 3000 Graphics Adapters which caused a crash when trying to use KONTROL S8, D2, or S5 which makes use of OpenGL to draw the displays on the controllers. For users with the buggy Graphics Adapters, TRAKTOR will now make use of DirectX instead to draw the displays.
  • Fixed Windows Fullscreen Problems with hi-res displays:
  • Two bugs regarding Fullscreen mode on hi-res displays in Windows have been fixed. The TRAKTOR window will now fill the entire screen in Fullscreen mode, and the graphics are up-scaled on high-resolution monitors so that knobs, buttons, and indicators are easier to read. However, for the upscaling to work, you must use the “Aero” option in the Display Preferences (see the Known Issues section, below).
  • KONTROL S5 Headphone Cue Mix was wrong:
  • There was a problem with the Headphone Cue Mix on KONTROL S5 which prevented proper leveling of the Cued deck to the Master output. This has been fixed in this software version – no firmware update for the hardware is necessary.

New in Traktor 2.10.0 (Oct 2, 2015)

  • TRAKTOR 2.10.0 introduces two new features and a set of bug-fixes as follows:
  • Support for the new TRAKTOR KONTROL S5:
  • TRAKTOR 2.10.0 is the first version to include support for the new TRAKTOR KONTROL S5 controller. Please see the KONTROL S5 documentation for a description of the features and workflows. In order to support the KONTROL S5, TRAKTOR 2.10.0 also comes with the required Controller Editor update.
  • Aux Input now supports 2 Stereo Inputs:
  • The KONTROL S5 has both a Microphone and Aux Line Input which both feed through the “AUX” knob in TRAKTOR. In order to support both inputs simultaneously, the Aux Input section of the “Input Routing” preference page now supports two simultaneous inputs which are summed together and fed to the “AUX” knob. Though this addition was required for KONTROL S5 support, the feature is available for all users.
  • Fixed an issue with legacy Scratch Certified devices:
  • In TRAKTOR 2.9.0, Scratch support was broken for some of the legacy Scratch Certified devices, such as the Korg Zero4. This issue has now been fixed.
  • Fixed Remix Deck Tempo Control from KONTROL S8 & D2:
  • In TRAKTOR 2.8.1, a bug was introduced that sometimes made the BPM adjustment for Remix Decks via KONTROL S8 and D2 unavailable. This issue is now fixed.
  • Fixed TRAKTOR Freezes/Hangs with certain WAV files:
  • A problem related to ID3 tagging of WAV files which could cause TRAKTOR to freeze/hang has been fixed.

New in Traktor 2.9.0 (Aug 4, 2015)

  • New Stem Deck Flavor in TRAKTOR PRO:
  • TRAKTOR 2.9.0 introduces a new Stem Deck which is capable of playing and mixing .stem.mp4 files. Thanks to the Automatic Deck Flavor Switching that was introduced in TRAKTOR 2.8.0, a Deck will automatically switch to Stem Deck whenever you load a .stem.mp4 file. The Stem Deck functions identically to a Track Deck, but just has additional sub-mix features for controlling the 4 Slot Volumes, Filters, and FX Sends for the stems.
  • Stem Support for TRAKTOR KONTROL S8, D2, and F1:
  • The TRAKTOR KONTROL S8, D2, and F1 controllers now natively support Stem Decks.
  • The KONTROL S8 and D2 will provide full 4-stem visualization of the Stems on the in-built displays, and the Performance Knobs, Buttons, and Faders control the sub-mix of the stems (such as Slot Volumes, Slot Filters, and Slot FX Sends).
  • The KONTROL F1 also supports Stem Decks via the same sub-mix controls that are also used for Remix Decks. When assigning an F1 to a Stem Deck, you’ll be able to control Slot Volumes, Filters, Mutes, and can also access the FX Sends via the shift-layer of the Pads. The Pads also serve as 4 visual level meters for the 4 audio slots in the Stem Deck so you can see if audio is playing on a slot even when its volume is turned down.
  • Stem and Remix Deck Sub-mix Controls in Controller Manager:
  • The sub-mix controls for the Remix Deck have now been upgraded to Deck Common controls in the Controller Manager. Controls like Slot Volume, Slot Filter, Slot Mute, and Slot FX Send Amount are now located in “Deck Common > Sub-Mix”. When mapping a MIDI Controller to these controls, these controls will now control a Stem Deck or Remix Deck, whichever type is loaded. If you had MIDI Mappings for Remix Deck mix controls previous to this update, those controls are now automatically mapped to the Deck Common Sub-mix controls for convenience.
  • Stem file management in Browser:
  • To support management of .stem.mp4 files, a new smart folder called “All Stems” is added to the Browser Tree. All Stem files in the Track Collection can be found quickly by clicking on this node in the Tree.
  • Performance Optimizations:
  • Playback of Stems requires more resources from your computer, so the team implemented a number of performance optimizations to TRAKTOR to reduce the overall CPU load. These optimizations can be enjoyed even when not playing Stem files.
  • Fixed Issue with Preview Player Loading via Controller Manager:
  • There was a bug where attempting to load something into the Preview Player via Controller Manager (hardware control) while no track was selected would result in the function not working until restarting TRAKTOR. This has now been fixed.

New in Traktor 2.8.1 (May 12, 2015)

  • TRAKTOR LE and TRAKTOR ME Crashing:
  • TRAKTOR LE and TRAKTOR ME were crashing on startup. This issue has now been fixed.
  • Preparation List Icon:
  • We also fixed some issues that were affecting the yellow diamond Preparation List icon which would incorrectly disappear with certain actions.

New in Traktor 2.8.0 (May 11, 2015)

  • TRAKTOR 2.8.0 contains some substantial changes to the core of the software, along with numerous other feature enhancements, improvement, and bug fixes. The list below provides a comprehensive overview of all changes since the last public release (TRAKTOR PRO 2.7.3) including the improvements in the two Public Beta releases (TRAKTOR PRO 2.7.4 and 2.7.5):
  • 64-Bit Application Architecture:
  • TRAKTOR PRO now has 64-bit architecture. By making TRAKTOR PRO a 64-bit application, it allows TRAKTOR PRO to access all the available RAM on computers with 64-bit operating systems; previously, TRAKTOR PRO could only access a maximum of 2GB of RAM regardless of how much RAM was actually installed and available on the computer. By giving TRAKTOR PRO access to more RAM, it will increase performance of the software by allowing management of more items (larger Track Collections, more Remix Deck samples, better playback caching, etc.).
  • Are you still using a 32-bit version of Windows? With this release, the 32- bit version of TRAKTOR PRO can now also access an additional 1GB of RAM (if the computer has it available) providing additional performance and stability.
  • ATTENTION 64-BIT WINDOWS USERS: If you are using an audio interface which only has 32-bit drivers, be sure you are also using the 32- bit version of TRAKTOR PRO in order to access the low-latency ASIO drivers for the audio interface, otherwise your audio interface won’t be selectable in the TRAKTOR PRO Preferences. If you have a 64-bit operating system, the Installer will have installed the 64-bit version of the application by default and you will need to take a few extra steps to run the 32-bit version as follows:
  • 1. Go to "C:\Program Files\Native Instruments\Traktor 2”. In this folder you will find the current 64-bit version of TRAKTOR PRO called “Traktor.exe”. Please rename this to “Traktor 64.exe” so that you have a backup of this version. 2. Please then open the “x86” subfolder. You will find another “Traktor.exe” inside. This is the 32-bit version of TRAKTOR PRO. Please move or copy this application up one sub-folder to the "C:\Program Files\Native Instruments\Traktor 2” folder. 3. Now launch this newly copied “Traktor.exe”—this will now be the 32-bit version of TRAKTOR PRO.
  • Multi-Processor Improvement:
  • A significant update has just been made to TRAKTOR PRO where multi- processor support is concerned: TRAKTOR PRO’s old audio threading model has been completely updated and optimised. For users of multi- processor computers who were experiencing degraded audio performance since the release of TRAKTOR PRO 2.7.0, the new threading model should fix these issues automatically.
  • Automatic Deck Flavor Switching:
  • TRAKTOR PRO now features full Automatic Deck Flavor Switching for all users; previously, this was only working when loading items via the KONTROL S8 Browser. Now, loading or dragging a Track or Remix Set onto a Deck will cause the Deck to automatically switch to the appropriate flavor to play the content.
  • Parallel Audio Analysis:
  • Also new in this version is a special analysis mode called “Parallel Processing”. This option can be found at the bottom of the Analysis window which appears when you right-click on tracks and choose “Analyze (Async)” from the context menu. If you enable the Parallel Processing checkbox before clicking “OK", TRAKTOR PRO will then use multiple threads to process many tracks simultaneously. Our tests show that processing a large collection of files can now be done three times faster with this option enabled. Be aware, however, that TRAKTOR PRO will use lots of your computer’s resources to do this and it may affect playback of tracks. We therefore only recommend using this feature in an offline situation rather than during a live performance.
  • Support for the New TRAKTOR KONTROL D2:
  • TRAKTOR PRO 2.8.0 supports the new KONTROL D2 hardware controller. The D2 will be officially released on May 4th, 2015.
  • Spin, Scratch & Hold a Playing Deck with KONTROL S8 or D2 Touchstrip:
  • New is a preference for the KONTROL S8 and KONTROL D2 which changes the SHIFT-behavior of the Touchstrip while a Deck is playing. Previously, holding SHIFT and touching the Touchstrip would perform an Absolute Seek (the Deck’s position would jump to the location corresponding to the touch on the Touchstrip). With this new preference enabled, this behavior is changed so holding SHIFT will allow you to perform spins, scratches, and holds with the Touchstrip while the Deck is playing.
  • NOTE: Backspins are enhanced by the fact that TRAKTOR PRO will stop the spin as soon as you release the SHIFT button. You can therefore perform a backspin effect for 2 beats by turning on FLUX mode, holding SHIFT, and swiping backwards on the Touchstrip. Two beats later, release the SHIFT button and the spin will stop and normal playback will resume right on the beat you desire.
  • KONTROL S8 and D2 Beat Grid Edit Mode Zoom:
  • When enabling Beat Grid Edit Mode on the KONTROL S8 or KONTROL D2, the left-most Performance Button will now be active. Pressing this button will zoom in on Beat 1 allowing you to set the position of the Beat Grid with greater precision. Press the button again to exit the zoom.
  • KONTROL S8 and D2 Position-Aware Beat Grid Tempo Adjustment:
  • When in Beat Grid Edit Mode on the KONTROL S8 or KONTROL D2, the two center Performance Knobs are used for adjusting the Tempo of the Beat Grid—the left knob is a coarse adjustment while the right knob is a fine adjustment. The new improvement is that these knobs are scaled based on the viewing position of Beat Grid Edit Mode so that adjustments made far away from the Grid Marker don’t result in abrupt changes to the waveform position. For example, if you are near the Grid Marker at the start of a song and change the Tempo of the Beat Grid, you will see the waveform move under the Beat Grid by a particular amount. If you then scan later into the track, adjusting the Tempo will create a similar amount of motion on the waveform (rather than a large amount of motion) thus allowing for precise setting of the Beat Grid Tempo over the length of the song.
  • KONTROL S8 and D2 MIDI Controls:
  • We've added a new feature to KONTROL S8 (which is also available on KONTROL D2) that allows you to use the Performance Knobs, Performance Buttons, and the Performance Faders below the Displays as MIDI output controls. You can therefore use these controls to send MIDI messages to other software or external gear. This feature is not enabled by default and requires some configuration as follows:
  • 1. In the KONTROL S8 or D2 Preferences Pane, check the "Enable MIDI controls" preference at the bottom.
  • 2. Click on the Controller Manager tab in the Preferences.
  • 3. Create a new Generic MIDI Device by clicking the "Add..." button and choosing "Generic MIDI" from the list.
  • 4. In the upper-right corner, select the MIDI port to use as the output for this Generic MIDI device. This can be the MIDI port on the S8, or it can be any other MIDI port available on your computer.
  • 5. The next thing that needs to be done is to assign the MIDI message and MIDI channel to the various MIDI controls. Click the "Add out..." button and navigate to "Global > MIDI Controls >". Here you will find a list of the 8 Knobs, buttons, and faders on the S8 which can be mapped; if using KONTROL D2, the first 4 knobs, faders, and buttons correspond to the left controller (assigned to Decks A and C) while the last 4 knobs, faders, and buttons correspond to the right controller (assigned to Decks B and D). Click one to add it to the mapping.
  • 6. Click the Device Mapping drop-down menu and it will show a list of 16 MIDI Channels. Hover you mouse over your desired MIDI output channel, and a sub-menu will open with message types "CC", "Note", and "Pitch Bend". You can select Pitch Bend to map the MIDI Pitch Bend message to this control, or you can hover your mouse over one of the other two menus to open up a list of specific CC and Note numbers/names–you can then click one of these to map the control to the specified Note or CC.
  • 7. Repeat the above two steps for each of the MIDI controls you want to map. When finished, you can close the Preferences.
  • 8. On the S8 or D2, use the Performance Mode Buttons (the < and > arrows next to the Displays) to switch the Performance Controls into MIDI Mode (this MIDI mode page will not appear if the above preference is not turned on).
  • 9. When the Performance Controls are in view on the S8 or D2, the Knobs and Buttons will output the MIDI messages that you assigned in the Controller Manager. The Faders will also output MIDI messages if they are not controlling a Remix Deck (in other words, neither of the Decks controlled by that side of the S8 or D2 can be Remix Decks, otherwise the faders will control the Remix Deck Slot Volumes instead of outputting MIDI).
  • Pioneer CDJ-900NXS and XDJ-1000 Integration:
  • Full native support for these two Pioneer players, including all available new functions provided on the XDJ’s touch screen interface, is now integrated into TRAKTOR PRO.
  • Rane MP2015 Scratch Certification:
  • The Rane MP2015 rotary mixer is now Scratch Certified and can be used as an audio interface for TRAKTOR PRO in conjunction with Timecode vinyl and/or CDs.
  • Additional Bugfixes:
  • Beta #2 (2.7.5) had a problem with FX routing modes—this issue has now been fixed.
  • Beta #2 also had a problem with playback of long M4A (AAC) files in the 32-bit version of the application. This has been fixed.
  • Beta #2 sometimes exhibited crackling when loading new tracks into Decks. This version resolves this issue.
  • Beta #2 could have high CPU spikes when used on some low-performance systems. We have made a change which prevents this.
  • We fixed a problem where TRAKTOR PRO would unnecessarily update the tags of tracks which are in the Preparation List at startup.
  • An issue was reported where TRAKTOR PRO could hang when accessing the Explorer node of the Browser Tree. This issue has been fixed.
  • At the same time, we also fixed an issue that could cause TRAKTOR PRO to crash when opening an Archive folder containing over 2500 .nml files.
  • We fixed an issue where TRAKTOR PRO would unnecessarily update all file tags when clicking on a Playlist .nml in the Explorer node of the Browser Tree.
  • We also fixed an issue where TRAKTOR PRO would unnecessarily update file tags when deleting items from a Playlist.
  • We fixed the CPU Load spike that can sometimes occur when engaging Keylock or Filter for the first time.
  • There was a problem where you sometimes couldn't re-order tracks in a Playlist without first clicking the "#" column twice and this has been fixed.
  • The Battery Indicator in TRAKTOR PRO's header was broken on some 64-bit systems and wouldn't show the battery level. This is now fixed.
  • An improvement has been made to MP4 (AAC) audio handling on Windows which should remove crackling during playback of these file types.
  • When adjusting the Master Clock Tempo via the S8 or D2, we have removed the "Hold BACK to Reset" text since this function wasn't valid for the Master Clock.
  • This version contains a fix for some crashes on startup which were part of the first Beta (2.7.4)
  • There were also reports of crashes or hangs on shutdown on some Windows systems and we have made a fix for it.
  • A bug was reported in 2.7.3 where a Deck would stop when loading a track into the playing Deck regardless of preference settings. This issue has now been fixed—loading a track into a playing track will leave the Deck playing so you immediately hear the newly-loaded track.
  • We also fixed an issue where jumping out of an Active Loop via a HotCue would disable the Loop—the Loop will now remain active when doing this just like in TRAKTOR PRO 2.6.8.
  • Fixed a problem where memory corruption could occur when browsing and sorting the Explorer node under very specific conditions with the S8 or D2.
  • Lastly, we fixed two issues which occurred when making changes to tracks (such as changing the track Rating) in the Explorer node while that same track was already playing in a Deck; doing so could result in the analyzed tempo being lost (causing the track to fall out of sync) or removal of the “played” checkmarks from the track. These issues should no longer occur.
  • Controller Editor:
  • Controller Editor has been upgraded to version 1.8.0.262 to support KONTROL D2 in addition to other improvements and bugfixes
