    What's new in fsLock 2.0 Build 918 RC2:

    May 16th, 2008

    · Enabled directory dropping for 'Secure' and 'Delete' files (adds all files from directory)
    · Pressing 'Escape' on the main window minimizes it to the system tray (when on)
    · In 'Delete Files', 'Encrypt & Delete' option will now change the filename as well (more secure)
    · Fixed a couple of spelling mistakes for the 'Menu Hover' text
    · Fixed a bug that caused the program to close on engine start (when system tray support is disabled)
    · Fixed a fault that caused the program to close when the 'Secure Files ' list was not saved (on exit)
    · Confirmation is now shown when the window is minimized to the system tray (on start-up or by force)
    · Lots of fixes here and there



    What's new in fsLock 2.0 Beta 3 Build 833:

    April 7th, 2008

    · All directory accessing and controlling codes has been completely re-written from the ground up.
    · All file accessing and controlling codes have also been re-written.
    · Fixed a massive fault that caused Recent File/List menu items to be displayed incorrectly.
    · Massively improved directory scanning when searching for files.
    · MAJOR: All settings are now stored in 'settings.xml' (all previous settings will not work).
    · When the 'Secure Files' engine is running, the status bar shows the number of files locked.
    · MAJOR: List saving and opening now uses true XML (all old list files will have to re-created).
    · You can now set how many 'Recent Files' and 'Recent Lists' to remember in the 'Options' window.
    · You can now set fsLock to remember its logs within each use (check the 'Options').
    · You can now turn off system tray support via the 'Options' window.
    · You can now do complete recursive scans on directories you add (off by default in the 'Options').
    · Small changes here and there and general code improvements.



    What's new in fsLock 2.0 Beta 2 Build 787:

    April 1st, 2008

    · Added 'Encrypt' support to 'Secure Files' (encrypts files before locking them, extra protection).
    · Changed the 'Add Program' window to that’s it easier to understand and use.
    · Fixed a massive fault that caused a File Encryption error when deleting files.
    · Fixed some resizing faults that cause the main window to crash.
    · Section selectors on the main window now use the whole selector (instead of just the link).
    · Fixed a fault that caused links to still be active and available when its section is currently open.
    · All process killing threads now work as background threads.
    · When a list is opened from 'Recent Lists', it’s now remembered as the last list used.
    · The 'File Information' panel now automatically resizes when sections are shown or hidden.
    · Fixed some spelling mistakes with menu text that is shown when hovered.
    · Fixed a fault that caused some of the menu items (mainly new ones) to not show their menu text.
    · All windows now remember their individual settings that are set.
    · All version information is now stored in the 'settings.ini' file.

    · Fixed a fault that allowed the INI setting file to be added to either list.
    · Fixed the same faults list above with the 'Add Directory' menu item.
    · Fixed similar faults caused in the Drag & Drop methods for 'Secure Files' and 'Delete Files'.
    · Fixed similar faults caused when adding recent files to either list.
    · You can now drag files onto the 'Secure Files' and 'Delete Files' blank panel displayers.
    · Fixed a small fault that caused the sections corner not to be shown correctly.
    · Fixed some small tooltip problems where they weren’t shown correctly.
    · Fixed a fault that allowed the same list to be added to the one currently open.
    · If a list is added that contains files already listed, they are now automatically removed.
    · Lots of enhancements, changes, etc.



    What's new in fsLock 2.0 Beta 1 Build 763:

    March 19th, 2008

    · MAJOR: Brand new default user inter-face
    · Fixed a fault that sometimes caused the engine to not secure certain files
    · Fixed an INI reading fault when checking for default values when adding files
    · MAJOR: Added full password protection system (is remembered and encrypted)
    · MAJOR: Full process protection support (only available for in the Full Edition)
    · When the lists have no files in them, help sections are now shown in the centre of the window
    · Both lists now have multiple select support (when deleting, status changing, etc)
    · Brand new layout for the 'Options' window with new settings (should be easier to use)
    · File encryption support for the 'Delete Files' section (more random, no key implementation)
    · Lots of small enhancements, fixes and changes



    What's new in fsLock 1.0 Beta 3 Build 272:

    February 12th, 2008

    · Added an "Options" window for specifying certain settings for the program.
    · Added default status change to the support (changeable in the "Options" window).
    · You can now reset the "Recent Files" and "Recent Lists" via the "Options" window.
    · You can now turn off the splash screen via the "Options" window.
    · Both lists now show "File" icons for each file added.
    · Fixed a few spelling mistakes here and there.
    · Fixed a lot of menu flickering when menu items are enabled/disabled.
    · Updated the sections which are enabled/disabled when the engine is running.
    · Search entries that are used are now saved within each use.
    · The Search history can be reset using the "Options" window.
    · Exit questions now play default Windows sounds.
    · When large lists are used, status messages are shown for each file locked/wiped.
    · Files that are not successfully locked are now also logged.
    · Files that are not successfully deleted/wiped are now also logged.
    · Fixed a fault that coursed the "Save" message (on exit) to keep showing when turned off.
    · Confirmation is now shown (optional) before files are wiped/deleted.
    · You can now use EXE and DLL files by using bypass settings (off by default in "Options").
    · Remove the settings from the "Window" menu as they are now controlled from the "Options" window.
    · You can now specify how many times are file is securely wiped before being deleted.
    · Lots of fixes and small changes.
