Feb 16, 2010
  • Added dimming feature around iDiary to allow the user to concentrate on
  • iDiary when they're writing
  • Re-arranged options menu
  • Transparency to the iDiary window when not in front (So the user knows
  • whats behind it)

New in iDiary 2.6 (Dec 22, 2009)

  • The UI for the main UI has been changed and now supports resizing so you can read things better.
  • The UI for Options has been changed and looks cleaner
  • You can now scroll to an entry depending on a date that you choose
  • The UI for all windows were expanded a bit and typos were corrected
  • An Edit mode has also been added but is for advanced users only, this allows for the deleting of entries, and correcting of typos, the user can trigger the edit function by first writing an entry (if no entries exist) and then pressing Ctrl-Shift-E, the user will then be notified that edit mode has been enabled and then entries box can be edited. If the user needs to delete entries, this can also be done, but the user needs to delete the entries using edit mode, and while in edit mode, press Ctrl-Shift-R, putting a text box in the corner, you then have to put the entry number that should be next into that box and press the key again, when editing is done, press Ctrl-Shift-E again and things will be back to the way they were (That explanation is why its for advanced users only).
  • Now you can make it so that when you shrink iDiary, you no longer are prompted with the "iDiary has been minimized to the tray" prompt, by clicking on it.
  • New Icon
  • Supports Dynamic loading on a separate thread so the user UI doesn't freeze
  • Several other minor bug fixes
