    What's new in jv16 PowerTools 2012 2.1.0.1081 Beta 3:

    · Bug fix: SetAppID.exe can show an error message or crash after jv16 PowerTools has been installed.
    · Bug fix: Backup Tool: The Abort button of all three icons does nothing. Also, it stays red after clicked.
    · Bug fix: Immunization tool doesn't show the number of lines to be added correctly.
    · Bug fix: Tip in the Anti-Malware´s window should be moved down and it should be changed to plural ("... directories to these boxes.").
    · Bug fix: Go to main window ->settings -> 'Integration with windows' -> Icons in Jump/start menu -> check item -> click OK. After the "specified path not found" application error the application can now be 'continued', 'restarted' or 'closed'. However the checked 'icon item' is now unchecked and that item is not added to the Jump/Start menu.
    · Bug fix: Open the Immunization feature and then closing it. Upon reopening the Immunization feature it generates an repeatable Access Violation error.
    · Bug fix: Go to main window ->'settings' -> 'Integration with windows' -> 'Icons in Jump/start menu' -> check the 'Backup' item -> click Ok. Only after the sequence close+start+close of jv16PT the Clean and fix my Computer icon shows up in the Jump/Start menu. Clicking on this CFMC icon however starts the jv16PT Backup function!
    · Bug fix: File Recovery: all the boxes (rectangles) must contain some numbers or text, even with "Look only for files of specific size" disabled, if not you get the warning I mentioned in my original post and the tool does not work.
    · Bug fix: Action History does not show adding a new startup item in the Startup Manager.
    · Bug fix: The Immunization tool can add duplicate items to the hosts file if the hosts file already contains data.
    · Bug fix: The Registry Finder (and Registry Find and Replace) does not always find data which is stored in the default value of a registry key.
    · Improvement: It's now possible to tell the Immunization tool to not to block certain websites, like Google ads.
    · Improvement: You can no setup the program to run the Immunization tool automatically every time PowerTools starts.
    · Improvement: The Registry Cleaner should now find a few more errors, due to a bug fix inside the engine.

It's also possible to add a special Important tag. If you attempt to remove an item with the tag, PowerTools will show you an extra confirmation dialog before the item is removed. This can be used to add an extra layer of protection for important data.

    · User Action History feature allows you to see exactly what you have removed with the program and locate the backup relating to the item. For example, you can see a list of files deleted on a specific date using PowerTools, or the list of registry errors fixed.

    · Improved Clean and Fix My Computer feature will also scan for broken shortcuts and for unneeded empty folders from the Start Menu and Desktop.

    · Improved Registry Cleaner feature will show more detailed information on why a specific piece of registry data was listed as error.

    · Fixed a bug that caused the product not to start properly on certain system.
    · Improved the overall startup time of the product.
    · Fixed a bug from the registry cleaner engine that caused the MRU scan module to list non-MRU items as errors. However, the bug only occurred on a very special sets of data, therefore the bug is not considered to be very serious.
    · Fixed a bug from the Duplicate File Finder that caused the tool sometime to hang.
