After a brief and uneventful setup procedure that shouldn't impose any difficulties, you are greeted by a small window with a plain and simple structure that represents the tool's interface.

All you have to do is copy a YouTube link to the Clipboard. YouTube Mp3 Downloader offers support for a Clipboard monitoring tool, so it automatically displays the Clipboard URL in the main window, along with its thumbnail. This live capturing feature can be disabled, though.

After downloading the YouTube video, the app immediately extracts the audio stream and saves it as an MP3 file. what's more, you can preview the clip in the default web browser with one click without having to leave YouTube Mp3 Downloader's interface, and make the window stay on top of other frames.

Apart from the fact that you can change the interface language, there are no other notable options provided by this software application.

CPU and RAM consumption was low in our tests, so the app didn't hamper system performance. On the other hand, it failed to recognize the active Internet connection, so it couldn't download videos.

We must also take into account that YouTube Mp3 Downloader hasn't been updated for a long time, and it remained in beta development stage. Nevertheless, you can test it for yourself, since it's freeware.
