The GUI (graphic user interface) of AgujaHilo is meant to be as intuitive and user-friendly as possible, so as encourage even PC novices to benefit from the app’s functions.

The first step is to select an image, no matter if it its format is BMP, GIF, JPG, PNG or TIFF, then resize it if its dimensions are too large (if the source picture is too large, it considerably slows down the app). Next, you can generate a so-called pattern where all the color shades of the resulting design are included.

Once the aforementioned pattern has been generated, you can explore the color palette and remove some of the shades, to ensure the final design is not too complicated. The zoom level can also be adjusted to your liking.

You can alter any selected stitches by changing their color to the one of the neighboring cells, thus making sure the contour of various objects is clear and neat.

When you are satisfied with the result, you can export the design to a separate graphic file for further analysis - this image can feature customized footer text and the current date.
