Plus, you can split videos, preview them in a built-in media player, take a snapshot, view file properties, clone media, create an output profile and change the viewing mode (e.g. hide unidentifiable items).

Moreover, you can set post-task actions (e.g. exit program, shut down computer), enable the tool to run in the background, use a bit rate calculator, as well as change the interface skin and language, along with general settings (e.g. enable to automatically check for updates).

The program takes up a very high amount of system resources and includes a brief step-by-step guide. Xilisoft AVI MPEG Converter successfully encoded all of our files (although we had to retry in some cases) and manages to keep a good image and sound quality.
