AgataSoft Auto PingMaster

AgataSoft Auto PingMaster is a simple-to-use program that automatically uses the Ping networking utility on user-defined hosts, thus keeping you up-to-date with your Internet connection status. It can be used by network administrators and enthusiasts alike.

Basically, the software utility provides a graphical user interface for the Ping command-line function. It consists of a single window that creates separate tabs for each host.

The Ping tool runs at program startup by default, and you can stop it at any time. AgataSoft Auto PingMaster allows you to set up to five hosts at a time. For enhanced functionality (e.g. prompt visual and audio notifications on critical levels), you can check out Agatasoft PingMaster Pro.

It is possible to edit host properties, set the program to automatically run at system startup, establish the timeout and delay (in milliseconds), use the TraceRoute function, as well as view statistics (e.g. sent, received and lost packets) and copy them to the Clipboard or save them to file for further scrutiny.

The utility runs on very low CPU and RAM, and minimizes to the system tray area on exit, so it doesn't disrupt normal activity or slow down overall performance. We have not come across any issues throughout our evaluation. Agatasoft PingMaster provides a straightforward solution to applying the Ping function on hosts, backed up by an intuitive interface and options.
