ACert Viewer Plus is a Firefox extension that adds two options to the certificate viewer in Firefox: an X.509 certificate can either be displayed in PEM format (Base64/RFC 1421, opens in a new window) or saved to a file (in PEM or DER format - and PKCS#7 provided that the respective patch has been applied). Additionally, the Tools menu is extended by an entry for direct access to the certificate manager (including a keyboard shortcut). As of release 1.0, the XPI file of this extension is signed.
