CodySafe

CodySafe is a simple-to-use application which you can install on a portable device (e.g. USB flash drive or external hard drive), in order to get quick access to a bunch of portable apps from the online environment.

Since installation is not necessary, the Windows Registry does not receive new entries and no files are left behind on the hard drive after program removal.

Upon initialization, the tool's features can be accessed from the system tray area. Its interface is stylish and easy to work with. You can directly access My Documents, My Pictures, My Music, My Videos and Windows Explorer.

You can download a wide range of portable tools from the Internet with the help of this program, whether we are talking about CD/DVD mastering tools (e.g. InfraRecorder), graphics and design (e.g. PicPick), language tools (e.g. Letter Zu), password managers (e.g. KeePass Professional), or others (e.g. TeamViewer Portable).

CodySafe integrates a control panel from where you can configure program settings (e.g. start minimized, disable sounds), change the GUI language, schedule regular antivirus scanning operations via Drive Doctor, and configure keyboard shortcuts. But you can also manage applications which automatically run at system startup as well as input personal information in case the respective external device gets lost.

The simple-to-use program requires a very low quantity of CPU and system memory, and has a good response time. It has not caused us any issues throughout our testing, such as hanging, crashing or popping up error dialogs. Thanks to its intuitive layout and overall simplicity, CodySafe can be handled even by first-time users.
