EuroCent Shutdown Manager is a small software application whose purpose is to help you activate shutdown sessions, such as turn off, hibernate, or restart your computer, at a custom time. It can be installed on Windows XP, Vista, and 7.

The tool reveals a simplistic layout that integrates all configuration settings into a single panel without looking at all crowded. There’s no support for a help manual but you can manage to set up the dedicated parameters on your own because they look very easy to work with.

EuroCent Shutdown Manager gives you the possibility to select the action that you want to trigger from a drop-down list, namely shut down, hibernate, stand by, log off, restart, or power off. What’s more, you are allowed to set the time in hours, minutes, and seconds when the scheduled task is activated.

The program is unobtrusive and can be found running in the system tray area once the timer has been activated. A simple left-click on its icon opens up a notification panel that reveals the remaining time until the current job is processed and allows you to cancel the process.

Tests have shown that the application carries out a task quickly and without errors. It does not eat up a lot of CPU and memory so the overall performance of the computer is not affected.
