Hardware Inspector Client / Server is a special edition of the Hardware Inspector application, specifically designed for managing inventory on remote branches. Its purpose is to ease the work of network administrators and IT specialists, making it easier for them to update the inventory, manage asset transfers, run audits and generate reports.

As its name implies, the application is based on a client-server architecture that makes it possible to work with a single database for all the remote workstations, regardless of their location. Thanks to the built-in network scanner, the list of workplaces can be immediately populated. Active Directory is supported.

The client application allows the system administrator to manage workstations in all the departments, displaying the physical configuration of the available machines at their current location. It can store the list of users and their role in the company, all organized in different groups.

You can also create a database of vendors, buyers and manufacturers, all to keep a close eye on all the assets, from the moment of purchase until they are retired. In other words, the application can store a detailed history of each and every inventory piece, logging maintenance and transfer dates.
