JoneSoft File Splitter

JoneSoft File Splitter is a software designed to help you split and restore files in a few easy steps.

This type of application is necessary when you want to send email attachments, burn a disc, and so on.

The interface of JoneSoft File Splitter consists of a small window in which you have limited options at your disposal.

You can use the file browser to import a file (the "drag and drop" method is not supported) and specify the output location.

You can split a file by size (input a value in kilobytes) or number of items.

After you press the "Split" button, the program should be able to quickly complete the task without popping up any errors.

The restoring process is similar and you can also set the tool to delete the pieces when the job is done and to restore the original file name. In the "Configuration" menu you can set the default folders for splitting and restoration, along with the default split size.

Besides the separate pieces, JoneSoft File Splitter also creates a BAT file that you can directly run to restore the original file. Just make sure all items are placed in the same directory. The simple application takes up a very low amount of system resources, includes a step-by-step guide and didn't freeze or crash during our tests.

Although the interface definitely needs some upgrades, JoneSoft File Splitter comes with the necessary and suffice elements for a successful file splitting process. We strongly recommend it to all users, especially rookies.
